Subtlity of the serpent

Subtlity of the serpent

1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which
Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said,
Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the
serpent, Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat:
3 but of the fruit
of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not
eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto
the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 for God doth know that in the day ye
eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as God,
knowing good and evil.
What did he use against mankind from the begining
4 The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when
the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to
them: the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.
5 And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and
that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil
continually.
Sin is sin no little sin great sin sin is sin.
Only in Christ Jesus is a believer saved. In Him there is no sin.
Intersting that Jesus said just before He returned it would be likened unto the days of Noah. What are we seeing in our day and time.
CHAPTER 4
1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of
the devil.
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he
afterward hungered.
3 And the tempter came and said unto him, If thou art
the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. 4 But he
answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil
taketh him into the holy city; and he set him on the pinnacle of the temple,
6 and saith unto him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is
written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and, On their
hands they shall bear thee up, lest haply thou dash thy foot against a
stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, Again it is written, Thou shalt not make trial
of the Lord thy God.
8 Again, the devil taketh him unto an exceeding high
mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of
them;
9 and he said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt
fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence,
Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him
only shalt thou serve.
11 Then the devil leaveth him; and behold, angels
came and ministered unto him.
