Sunday School activity: Psalm 23

I've been looking for Sunday School activities like crazy and the Holy Spirit has just blessed me with a new idea.

I'm really excited about it and it's based on Psalm 23, my absolute favorite: our kids will first read that wonderful Psalm and then copy each verse using magnetic characters. It's very simple but I know will it work.

A whole hour dedicated to Psalm 23, I like it! Thank you God: I know this is your doing, not mine! :)

I once was asked to host a class for 8 to 10 yo kids so I bought a silk screen printing kit and had them print stuff. This requires that the kids be old enough to handle Exacto knives, but no other skill is required. You can provide predrawn pictures for kids who have no skill at drawing their own. When I say pictures I mean areas of color, not line drawings.

Don't make the mistake I made. Be sure every kid makes an extra copy of each art work to be displayed in the church.
