But you can trust God,
who will not permit you to be tempted more than you can stand.
But when you are tempted,
he will also give you a way to escape so that you will be able to stand it.”

One way to meet temptation is to quote a verse of Scripture at the tempter –
he will always run, for he cannot stand against the Word of God.

Hello Bob;

In this Scripture when one who doesn't want to go in the direction of temptation or a bad situation, will experience a spiritual leading to stay as far away as possible.

I will follow up and that person will confess, "God was right, and I'm glad I listened to Him."
