The 1st 10 names in the bible

Adam (man), Seth (appointed), Enosh (mortal), Kenan (sorrow), Mahalalel (the blessed God), Jared (shall come down), Enoch (teaching), Methuselah (His death shall bring), Lamech (the despairing), and Noah (rest or comfort).
I find this quite interesting, that the first 10 names basically layout the plan of salvation. I am not a linguist, could someone who knows the original language verify these names and their meanings?

That’s really cool. 🤩

As I have looked at this, I have noticed that Cain and Abel are not mentioned. I looked them up and Cain can mean acquired and Abel means breath. I don't know why they were not included in the list as it would have brought the number to twelve and it fits with the sentence that is made by the definitions.
"Man, Acquired, Breath, Appointed ,Sorrow, (but) The blessed God, Shall come down, Teaching, His death shall bring, The despairing, Comfort or Rest.
I wonder if this is just a mistake as the number twelve is significant, 12 tribes of Israel and twelve Apostles.
Thoughts?

Very interesting Dave. Makes perfect sense to me. The meaning of 12, which is considered a perfect number, is that it symbolizes God's power and authority, as well as serving as a perfect governmental foundation. It can also symbolize completeness or the nation of Israel as a whole.

Cain being a murderer might be a problem.
