Well, the battle between good and evil we know who wins in the end...so as long as you on the victors side you cant lose.
It kinda hard to see when you in the middle of it though. This is why we have faith. Its not as if God doesnt know why satan opposes him and even satan has to submit to God.

Personally when ministering I wouldnt give those stock answers though. Cos even muslims can say its all Gods or Allahs will when terrible things happen.

Well, he was the Pastor of the most fundamental church I ever attended (and principal of its school). He felt that everything that has happened is part of God's plan. When asked about Satan and man, he replies that it would not bring more glory to God if Satan (and man) had never revolted. In fact, that was his stock answer to any question regarding ills of the world.
