Where does the Body of Christ go.
The Lord`s own Throne.
The Lord Jesus Christ takes His Body of believers to the third heaven. It is there that they are a part of the Coronation of Jesus upon His own throne. This throne was set up by the Father and is the highest rulership in all of God`s great kingdom.
`God said....I have set My King on My holy hill of Mount Zion.` (Ps. 2: 6)
Mount Zion is symbolically the place of rulership. The Lord Jesus is then revealed in all His glory as not only the High Priest but also the Supreme King of all God`s Kingdom.
`And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone; and there a rainbow around the throne in appearance like an emerald.` (Rev. 4: 3)
The precious gems were on the breastplate of the High Priest, and the jasper and sardius stones were the first and last ones. (Gems - Ex. 28: 17 - 21 & Tribes - Num. 2)
Jasper stood for the conqueror, indicating that the Lord has conquered the world, the flesh and the devil. He overcame all. (for Naphtali - Gen. 30: 8)
The sardius stone represents power and dominion, which is what the Father has given the Son, all power and authority as the enthroned King. (for Judah - Gen. 29: 35)
The Body of Christ on Thrones.
Because the Father appointed the Son as a special High priest, a Kingpriest this means that those in His Body are also of that order. They are KingPriests. (Heb. 6: 20, 7: 1 - 3)
`Jesus Christ...has made us kings and priests to His God and Father.` (Rev. 1: 6)
The Body of Christ, represented by the 24 elders, are described also.
`Around the throne were 24 thrones and on the thrones I saw 24 elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns on their heads.` (Rev. 4: 4)
24 Elders - (2 x 12) The Highest Government, represents the Body of Christ.
On Thrones - Kingpriests.
Around Jesus` Throne - the Body of Christ.
Clothed in White Robes - Made holy through Christ`s blood.
With Golden Crowns - Victor`s, overcomers.
The 24 elders, representative of the Body of Christ, will then honour the Lord Jesus Christ, falling down before His throne, casting their crowns before Him.
`...the 24 elders....worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: You are worthy to receive glory and honour and power...` (Rev. 4: 10 & 11)
