Legal Authority for the G20.
The G20 is an International Form for governments and central bankers. As such it is not legally binding on the members. This will soon change as the leaders decide to make this `ad hoc` group into a permanent institution with legal authority.
The group`s chair rotates annually among the members and is selected from a different regional grouping (5) of countries.
The G20 Presidency starts from 1 December until 30 November.
The 2023 chair was in India.
The 2024 chair was in Brazil.
The 2025 chair is in South Africa.
The 2026 chair is the USA.

This 5 rotation of Presidents will come to an end and then I believe, the newly appointed President of Europe will take over. Finally there will be the last Global leader, the President of the G20, from Islam.
