The Hiding Place: By Corrie Ten Boom

I am reading this book for the first time and it is an amazing story from occupied Holland in WWII. Anyone else read this? Seen the movie?

I am about 3/4 of the way through it as of last night-might finish tonight. I found the movie on YouTube so I am planning on watching it very soon! :)

Didn't realize there was a sequel; have to check that out too....

I saw the movie back in the 70's, then more recently in YouTube. It is quite good. There is also In My Father's House, which is more about her life before The Hiding Place.

Another biography I would put on the same level is Evidence Not Seen, by Darlene Deibler Rose.

WOW! What a powerful book. I finished it last night and for no sane reason balled like a baby for about 15 minutes.

It seems unreal that there are real people on this planet like Betsie, Corrie and their father. It makes you have to really examine what our 'needs' are in this life. I am so eager to look into more of Corre ten Boom's life. I think they are on my favorite people list to find in Heaven...
