The Jordan Peterson Phenomenon

Peterson is popular because he doesn't tout the Bible as the objective standard for society, culture and morality, and yet refuses to embrace the warped and twisted system of subjective morality and ethics of the radical secularists and mass media moguls. The secularists can't wrap their little brains around the idea that someone who doesn't defend the Bible still holds to traditional values that reflect a sense of morality that isn't like the subjective system or morality and ethics that defines radical feminism, wokeness, LGBTQ...., etc. He is rational rather than irrationally subjective as they are, and it drives them crazy with ire that he doesn't think as they. They don't like the idea that there are truly rational reasons as to why their subjectivism simply doesn't work to build a wholesome and viable society and nation upon the foundations of feminism, multiculturalism and all the other radical -isms that we see roiling in media today.

Keep in mind, however, that Peterson is not a biblicist, and therefore doesn't subscribe to full-on absolutes of morality as defined within the word of God. He's a clinical Psychologist, and therefore reflects many of the worldly ideas about thought, belief and conduct.

quote from the wiki page on him.

In a 2017 interview, Peterson was asked if he was a Christian; he responded, "I suppose the most straight-forward answer to that is yes."[195] When asked if he believes in God, Peterson responded: "I think the proper response to that is no, but I'm afraid He might exist."[59]

He is lost sinner, as does not confess Jesus is His Lord!

Probably not even saved, as does not seem to even acknowledge Jesus as his Lord and Savior!

isn't he not trying to get Muslims and Jews and Christians to come together based upon us "following same God?

Peterson is a fascinating character. He has many videos about psychology, religion and mythology. His insights are truly fascinating. As to his accepting of Jesus, I believe he, like many, is heading in that direction.

LOL..........song from Blood, Sweat and Tears........
"My troubles are many, they’re as deep as a well
I can swear there ain’t no heaven but I pray there ain’t no hell".

Praying and hoping and thinking there is NO Hell does not mean there is no hell.

Does not seem to be very sure at all who Jesus is, and what it means to really be Christian!
