The Kingdom of God question

Whilst looking for the Kingdom of God,
I thought about God being Spirit. Now I ain't read the whole bible yet so please chime in if you think I need correcting.

Is then, the fruit of the Spirit, the Kingdom of God?
Tar folks

That's a great question. The Fruit of the Spirit is the attributes of being a Christian. It makes me think of the characteristics of Christ.
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Please let me know if I missed any of them. I could be wrong. lol

So maybe all of these attributes / characteristics are in the kingdom God, but I don't think they are the kingdom of God. Now, I could be wrong because I am certainly not a theologian or a scholar by any means. I am trying to learn new things myself.

the kingdom of God may be the kingdom of heaven and all that rules over it (God, HS, Christ, Angels, etc). I am not sure about this, I am just talking out loud at this point and figuring it out. Are we, ourselves, the kingdom of God?

Greetings,
I heard it put this way and it stuck.

If there is a Kingdom then there has to be a King or ruler.
There will be set certain ways to live and act within this kingdom.
One will reap results from either walking upright in this kingdom or not walking upright.

The "Kingdom of God" should be inside a born again believer.
Another Words, a born again believer should be operating according to Kingdom Laws which simply is the way God has set forth for things to work according to His Most Holy Written Word.

We obey and walk accordingly to His ways then we shall reap from the good ways He has set forth, but walk any other way and we will reap not of His Goodness.

Blessings

A fruit is the byproduct of a tree full of life and healthy. A young tree doesn't always produce fruit. Once a tree is flowering, bees must come and pollinate the blossoms. Then the blossoms fall and die and is replaced with a seed incased in flesh. Then over the season the fruit grows and ripens. Then it can be picked. That is the very process of a Christian, not just of a tree.

The type of fruit borne is from its tree type. If we are of God and listen to the Holy Spirit and act in obedience then we start bearing the fruit of God. Did you know that in Hebrew, the word for bee is also the word for word. In English, Deborah means bee and word in Hebrew. So the word of God pollinates us to produce fruit. Without them, there's no fruit.

Romans 10:17 (KJV)
So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

There is literally so much to know in the bible and in the Spirit. It will take me my entire lifetime to learn it all and I probably will still not know it all. talking about the fruit of the spirit made me think of the beatitudes of Jesus. There is always something to learn or know.

Adding to what FCJ said... the Kingdom of heaven is God's will and ways and power manifested on the earth. It's the things that are promised to us through our union with Christ.

Think about the parables that Jesus told and what He said to those who had been healed ... the Kingdom is a great treasure and as we seek that treasure and submit to His ways of doing things and being right (mt 6:33 ampc) our lives will emulate or mirror the way it is in heaven, because the Kingdom is within us. It's Thee Blessing in action in every area of our lives.

Blessings to you fee :)

Your post brings many Scriptures to mind... my favorite is
You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you.
John 15:16 AMPC

Plus the beginning of the chapter which is learning to abide or keep our union with the true vine (Jesus the Christ, or Messiah... the anointing of the anointed one)

Thank you for what you shared
And blessings in abundance to you and your family

Greetings:
What I gather from the New Jerusalem coming down with 12 gates:there is a group of folks like you
coming and going from the same Disneyesque Fantasyland.I would be happy being far away from the early
risers and bicycle nuts.

Actually our Words do have the power to produce life or death, blessing or curses (Deut 30:19-20, Matthew 12:34-35) Each and every word we speak should be viewed as a container. So if we dont want somethimg to come to pass... we should not speak it

I think God has been dealing with me on this. I say I am tired all the time. I catch myself saying it even if I am not tired. Truth is I usually am always tired. I have to stop saying this.

Blessings

There is much to learn and we should always keep ourselves immersed in the Word however, don't let this overwhelm you. Remember that God has said, "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts and I will write them on their minds." Hebrews 10:16

Living in the Word and allowing yourself to be open to the Holy Spirit, the wisdom and laws of the Lord will become an inseparable part of your being, placed there by God.

It definitely is a challenge to turn our vocabulary around. But it sure is worth it... I have noticed a huge change in my life. Still have more to go, but it's a good start. When I find out (usually via the Holy Spirit) what a word really means if its contrary or opposite to God's Word... then I stop it... it just takes practice :) so be patient... you'll get better. Ask the Holy Spirit to put a watch over your mouth like David did (ps 141:3).

For the more clear and untainted our words are and more full of life... the more we become like Jesus was. He only spoke what the Father told Him to speak. And thus when He healed or cursed the fig tree... it happened. I think it also helps in hearing from God also. Because ones mind is growing closer to what God wants and the way He talks, and it brings better, clearer understanding.

Blessings to you sister

Words are definitely wonderful things, but it is a pity that people rarely truly listen to what people are trying to communicate. Hence, in order to be heard, people tend to use over-dramatic words which then soon end up losing their power from overuse. My absolute favourite form of communication is sign language. Not only are the words clear, but the degree of emotion behind the words are unmistakeable, and even here still there is opportunity for misuse.

I know someone who in both speech and in writing constantly uses the 'f-bomb' multiple times per sentence. It is distracting and creates a very negative picture of this person's character (as it should). What we say and the words we use are as important as how we feel in our hearts. The apostle James reminds us of the importance of taming the tongue and choosing our words carefully:

"...Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep the whole body in check. ....The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. ....no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God's likeness. Our of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. " James 3:1,5, 8-12

I fully agree with you, and thought i would add that it also releases a spirit within that word as well.

Good post and great Scripture my friend
