The Snake Continues to Speak

The moderator in this video asked a question entirely steeped in the secular, worldly perception out there that the tree from which Adam accepted the fruit from the hand of his deceived wife was from the "tree of knowledge." They conveniently leave out that it was the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

They can't have that, because admitting there was such a tree is to admit absolutes over which mankind has no control if it comes from a mature tree whose substance is already defined.

So, by merely calling it a "tree of knowledge," they think that they are cleverly labeling God a "bad guy" to have forbidden mankind to possess just knowledge of any greater measure. John Lennox does a masterful job at showing the origin of that misleading question in order to shame the dishonest perspective, and showing that it was the snake who asked that same type question.

You see, this shows the dangers anyone may find himself in who who is not prepared by way of not just knowledge, but also the infilling of Holy Spirit. Dr. Lennox demonstrates not only his knowledge, but also the Spirit within. Worldly people will today laugh along with us, but the day coming, and is even here, when they will not countenance solid doctrine and Truth.

Please seek out the Spirit of the Lord when you find yourself confronted by the world and its irrational evils, and the Spirit will always lead you.
