They Have Made The Tomb A Sure Thing....but He Is Risen Now...

Blessed are those servants whom the Lord when He comes shall find “watching”….that is, being “AWAKE” to having brotherly love. He shall come with the Spirit of His mouth through His servants sent out to the churches to speak His words of life and spirit….the rivers of living water. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying. We are to entertain the “strangers” with brotherly love. We are to be hospitable and listen and consider what they might have to say….lest He find us “sleeping” in our wrath, envy and strife and He comes in a day we are not aware for the Son of man comes at an hour that we think not.

Luke 12:37-40 KJV
(37) Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
(38) And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

If the “goodman” of the house…..the church leader….had known what hour the “thief” would come, he would remain “awake” and not have his house be broken through. He would be welcoming the brothers…the strangers…and would also feed the Word of Truth to the flock that is entrusted to his care. As shepherds, we are to feed His sheep.

The “thief” will come to “steal” the body of Christ….the believers who will be watching and listening. They will hear the Lord’s voice and depart from those who are living in error. They will come out of the church congregations (graves) of the unbelieving when they shall hear His voice. All the believers who are in the “graves” of religious-sounding men shall come forth from them and do good unto the resurrection of His life NOW… for Christ is not dead but is RISEN NOW. He is alive NOW and so we are to have His life NOW.

(39) And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
(40) Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Diotrepehes….the “goodman of the house”…was found “sleeping” when he did prate against the brothers sent to the church to preach His words of life and spirit. He did prate against them with malicious words. The Lord will remember the evil deeds of men who love to be first among their congregations. He will reward them according to their deeds towards His words and towards those who will receive them.

3 John 1:9-10 KJV
(9) I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
(10) Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

Those that will hear His Word and believe on Him that sent the Son has an age-lasting life NOW. They shall not come into condemnation (perishing from off the earth) but shall pass from death unto life NOW. The Son sends out His “least brothers”….SERVANTS of the Word… to speak to the churches and whoever hears them hears Him and the Father who sent Him. They come in His name…with His “authority” written on their foreheads. How will we respond?

John 5:21-30 KJV
(21) For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
(22) For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
(23) That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
(24) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

The hour is coming and NOW IS for He is risen and is alive NOW….and we who believe shall have His life NOW as we arise also from the “dead” NOW. We shall depart from their company as the Son of man comes like a thief in the night (for those who continue to “sleep”) to take His people out of the “grave” that they have been attending. Why seek the living among the dead? Those that shall hear His voice and believe shall live….NOW…for He is alive NOW.

(25) Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
(26) For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
(27) And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
(28) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

What will our response be to His Voice?

(29) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

As He HEARS, He judges and His judgment is just. What we sow, we reap.

(30) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Interestingly, the chief priests and Pharisees were worried when Jesus was put in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathaea. They worried that the disciples….the learners…of Jesus would come by “night” (like a thief) to “steal” Him away.

Their worry is warranted….for today this very thing will happen to all churches while men are “sleeping”….forgetting to have brotherly love. Jesus comes to gather His people out of their presence as He will send His servants to preach His words to them and enlighten the eyes of their understanding so that they may be delivered from men who have deceived them and have kept them in their “graves” they have set up as memorials to themselves. They preach themselves and not Jesus who IS risen from the dead and is alive now.

The modern-day chief priests and Pharisees seem to have forgotten that HE IS RISEN NOW….being ALIVE NOW …. as they preach their covenant with death and their agreement with the grave. They have made the tomb SURE for everyone listening to them. They are preaching that we have to physically die and then be resurrected on the last day….the “third day” as they seal the doom of their hearers with their handwritings of dogmas as they seek after unjust gain. Their handwritings of ordinances have made their “graves” secure….keeping us in their graves….in bondage. They are CONTRARY to us…they are AGAINST us. Through the fear of death (for example: we will go to “hell” if we do not do what they say) do they keep us in their bondage with their covenant with death….their handwritings of carnal ordinances that their puffed up fleshly minds have conceived.

The tomb has been made very “certain”…. “SURE”… to the ears of their followers. There is no other way according to them: the tomb is made “sure”….the grave is made certain for everyone. Everyone must die since that is the way all things have happened since their church fathers have died. Death seems to be their friend and not an enemy to be overcome. But death IS an enemy…one that we triumph over in Christ Jesus.

The scoffers shall come forth and say where is the “promise of His coming”….where is the promise of His presence? Where is this promised “eternal life” ( His life that is to appear in our mortal flesh) for since the fathers have DIED all things continue as they have from the beginning. They will refuse to believe that there is something VERY wrong in their religious thoughts, ways and institutions even though that everyone that has ever attended them have died or are dying.

But HE IS RISEN from the dead NOW. HE IS ALIVE NOW! We are to have His LIFE NOW….not after we physically die and be resurrected later. He IS the resurrection and the life and those who will believe shall not die to the age.

Matthew 27:
(62) Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
(63) Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

Again, they have made the grave a “sure” thing in our hearing. They seem to have forgotten that HE IS ALIVE and RISEN FROM THE DEAD already! If He is risen, then we also are risen NOW if we die to sin. They do NOT want His disciples to be preaching that He is risen from the dead NOW….because that means that we are to be also risen from the dead at this very time. This means that all they have been preaching and commanding are in error. Death has no power over Him and us who share in His life NOW.

They want to keep the grave certain until the “last day”. They are really preaching that He is NOT risen NOW by doing so. They consider it an “error” to be preaching He IS risen from the dead unto their congregations. His disciples preach that He is risen NOW from the dead and so we are to be RISEN NOW and depart from their “graves” now.

(64) Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

The grave keepers have a “watch”….a custody. They want to make sure that you believe that the grave is certain until the last day. They want you to keep their covenant with death and their agreement with the grave using the guile…the deceit… that is found in their mouths as they preach for doctrines the commandments of men. They bring you into their bondage with man’s commandments and teachings in order to take advantage. They bring you there so that they can earn an unjust gain after the hidden covetousness within their hearts until you perish away from the earth. They are making merchandise of us like perishable goods to be consumed. Let NO MAN rob you of your reward….His “eternal” life is NOW. Let no man beguile you. The stone is sealed with the handwriting of dogmas that keep us in the “graves” of men.

(65) Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
(66) So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

NOW is the day of salvation. NOW is the high time to awake out of our “sleep”. Our salvation has always been in the here and now…living here in this earth. But many have been led astray into thinking otherwise. Our salvation is MUCH NEARER than what we were led to believe….for it is NOW. Know the time: NOW!

Romans 13:10-12 KJV
(10) Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
(11) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
(12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

We are His body. His/our “grave” was/is with the wicked and with the rich in His/our death. The rich have presided over us and have exploited us in their churches. They have led astray many unto the destruction of the flesh.

Isaiah 53:9 KJV
(9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Just like Joseph of Armathaea….the rich crave the body of Jesus….of whom we are. “Arimathaea” = high place.

Matthew 27:57-61 KJV
(57) When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:
(58) He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
(59) And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

They have hewn out a new tomb in the rock…..they have started denominations, churches, religious institutions in their names as seemingly lasting memorials. The church fathers started their churches as a memorial to themselves….their “greatness”…the high place hewn in the rock….as people after them would also attend them and perish in the graves they have hewed out for themselves. The grave has enlarged its mouth as it has swallowed many alive to the destruction of the flesh.

They have rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb….and they “departed”. The church fathers themselves set up the “grave” of their memorials…their denominations… and have died. They keep multitudes of people in their “tombs” with their handwritings of dogmas that bring people into bondage so that they can never leave their churches until their deaths as they prevent the life of Jesus from being manifested in their congregations. The tomb is their “church” that they had started and many attend and died and are buried in them. Many are sick and dying and have died as they come together in the graves started by men. The grave has enlarged its mouth and swallowed up multitudes.

(60) And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
(61) And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.

Their inward thought is that their denominations should continue forever and their churches to all generations….as their posterity should also attend what they have started in a memorial to their greatness. Their posterity will keep their handwriting of ordinances.

Psalms 49:11-15 KJV
(11) Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

Nevertheless, man being in honor abides not. The church fathers themselves and all the “honorable” after them have perished from off the earth. They have not continued here.

(12) Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

Their way is folly…..for they have NOT LIVED. They have perished from off the earth. Yet, their posterity continues to approve of their sayings to this day. They continue to embrace their handwriting of dogmas (ordinances) even though NOT ONE of them has been kept alive in Him by keeping them. We are NOT REDEEMED by the precepts…the transmissions (traditions)… of the fathers. Not ONE of them is still alive today.

(13) This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.

They have made the grave their destiny….and also for those after them who follow their “sayings” as their denominational teachings are handed out down from one generation to another. Yet, in the “morning” of the revelation of the knowledge of the Truth their greatness shall be destroyed as people will RUN away from their memorials….from their graves….from their church denominations that they thought would continue. Their glory shall rapidly disappear as they will be looked upon in shame and embarrassment.

(14) Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
(15) But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

He is not there in their dead teachings. Why seek the LIVING among the “dead”? He is ALIVE NOW. We are all seeking Jesus which was crucified but we will NOT find Him in the teachings of the “dead” for He IS RISEN from the dead already. We are to GO QUICKLY from the “sepulcher”…..their prominent memorial hewn out for themselves…with fear and great joy. We are to “run” and bring this Word to others: He is risen from the dead now.

Matthew 28:5-8 KJV
(5) And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
(6) He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
(7) And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
(8) And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

In the “graves” set up by men there is joy and gladness. Yet, they are rejoicing in their riches as they are slaughtering sheep…..killing people with their deceitful words in order to get unjust gain. “Let us eat and drink for tomorrow we shall die”.

The grave is certain for them and their followers as they celebrate their riches that they have gathered for themselves. Their church gatherings are in idolatry. They are reveling in their abominable banquets as they perish from off the earth. They have built grand church buildings and denominations in their names for a memorial to themselves and many go to observe their memorials and keep their doctrines and commandments. They attend their churches they have set up as tombs hewn in the rock and are perishing from off the earth. His people perish because of a lack of knowledge in the graves of religious-sounding men.

Isaiah 22:
(12) And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
(13) And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.
(14) And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

“Shebna” ….meaning “to grow, growth” symbolizes the church leaders who are “puffed up” in their fleshly minds. They are “over the house”. They are the “treasurers” as well as the scribes for Shebna was a scribe also. They are “scribes’: They have written handwritings of dogmas to keep the tomb secure for their congregations.

(15) Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,

What is this they have here? Who do they have here? They have hewed out for themselves ( for their honor) a grave (a church) here on high (the rich men of “Arimathaea”….a “high place”) so that their posterity may attend after them . They have made a habitation for themselves in a “rock”. Their churches have prominence so that all can see and honor them.

They have a “watch” to keep and their grave is made secure with the handwriting of the ordinances of fleshly men who are vainly puffed up in their fleshly minds. (Shebna=growth=puffed up). They think their houses….their denominations…should continue and that their names will be continued to be honored in their memorials as they have made handwritings of dogmas to keep people in them.

(16) What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
(17) Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee

But like a stone…or a ball…being rolled away (violently turned), their honor and handwritings shall be taken away and all of their glory shall be turned into their shame. He blots out the handwriting of their ordinances that are against us, which are contrary to us, and takes it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.

They shall die in a “large country”….for everyone will see their shame and not their glory that they thought would continue indefinitely. Our Lord shall make an “open show” of them (rolling them into a open country to “die”) as He spoils the principalities and their powers (ordinances)….triumphing over them. Their “chariots” of their glory are their fleshly ordinances that they had written for others to keep are to be seen as their shame.

(18) He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.

Their “watch” shall be taken away.

(19) And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shall make an open show of them (rolling them like a ball into a large, open country) as He replaces their leadership which they have disgraced. He is the Head of all principality and power. He is the true “Treasurer” for in Him is the true treasure of wisdom and knowledge.

“Eliakim” = “God has raised”. God raised our Lord Jesus from the dead and He is alive NOW and we are raised TOGETHER WITH HIM. The son of “Hilkiah” = “ a portion given by God”. We share in the portion of His resurrected life NOW.

(20) And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
(21) And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
(22) And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

He takes away their powers….their handwriting of ordinances….and nails it to the cross….and we are made steadfast in Him with FAITH as all of the glory of the Father’s house shall hang upon Him. He is the Head from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increase with the increase of God. We are His vessels of mercy.

(23) And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.
(24) And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.

The handwriting of dogmas are nailed to the cross and their burden shall be cut off.

(25) In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.

continued in next post......
.....continued from previous post....

We are His flesh and bones….His body. The “Son of man” has been betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes who have written their handwritings of ordinances that are contrary to us. They have condemned us to death as they prevent His life from appearing in our mortal flesh .

(17) And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
(18) Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,

….and the world (the Gentiles) mocks Him for they see the works of the chief priests who preach for money and do not let their “prisoners” go forth from their prisons. But He shall command us to “arise” and go forth out of their company in the day of revelation.

(19) And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

He has the keys of the grave (hell….Hades) and of death to let us out: “I am He that LIVES and was dead and behold I AM ALIVE for evermore, amen, and have the keys of Hades and of death. “

He is ALIVE NOW….and so we are to be also as He lets us out of the graves of religious-sounding men unto the resurrection of His life now. “Eliakim” = “God has raised”.

(17) And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
(18) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

If we are buried with Him in baptism by dying to sin in the hearing and indwelling of the Spirit, we are also RISEN with Him NOW through the faith of the operation of God who had raised Jesus from the dead. He “quickens” us together with Him. He is RISEN from the dead NOW and so we who are “dead” in trespasses and sins are to be RISEN NOW as HE is ALIVE NOW!

(12) Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
(13) And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

The stone was sealed by the chief priests and Pharisees by their handwriting of ordinances (Greek: DOGMAS) that are contrary to us. Man’s doctrines and commandments keep us in their graves….but He takes their handwriting of dogmas out of the way and makes a show of them openly triumphing over them in it. He takes away the powers of their doctrines and commandments which did keep us in their bondage….in the grave…so that we should die off from the earth.

(14) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
(15) And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Let no man judge you according to the shadow of things to come (that they are keeping and commanding us to do). They want you to observe the handwriting of their fleshly ordinances that were passed down from their church fathers who hewed out a grave on high in the rock for us to lie and die in. They judge us and others over their carnal ordinances….whether we keep them or not. They want to deceive and scare you through the fear of death into keeping them. They judge others…speaking evil of others…who will not do their fleshly commandments. They do not follow the law of Christ to have love for one another when doing so.

(16) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
(17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Let no man BEGUILE (defraud) you of your reward: “eternal life” …..that is, defrauding us of the life of Jesus that is to appear in our flesh in the here and now. They seek to bring us into bondage with the doctrines and commandments of men. Worshipping of “angels”= observances of messages of the Bible that are misused (wrested) for their own gain. They are vainly puffed up in their fleshly mind (Shebna= growth =puffed up) as they bring many people into bondage….into keeping their fleshly ordinances in order to obtain gain from them after their hidden covetousness.

(18) Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
(19) And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

In vain do they worship Him, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

(8) This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
(9) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

They lay aside the commandment of God (to have love for one another) in order to hold the “tradition” of men. Tradition = “transmission” = precept. Many are REJECTING the commandment of God in order to keep the precepts of men…their handwriting of dogmas that keep us in death unto the destruction of the flesh.

(8) For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
(9) And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Their doctrines and commandments are the works of men’s hands. Do not be dismayed at the “signs of the heavens”… they misuse Bible verses to support their commandments….their handwriting of ordinances. They get their commandments from the Bible….cutting a tree out of the forest. The “customs”…the ordinances…of the people are in vain. They are the work of the hands of the “workman” who is puffed up in his own fleshly mind.

(1) Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
(2) Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
(3) For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

They deck the handwriting of ordinances with silver and with gold (for their goal is to obtain such things) and they fasten it with nails and hammers that it moves not. They reinforce their doctrines and commandments with their words being written in stone and being repeated in the minds of their followers and they are passed down from one generation to generation. No one has lived by keeping them. No one is redeemed by the traditions….the transmissions…the precepts… of the church fathers. Be not afraid of them for they can not do evil if we do not keep them nor is it in them to do any good.

(4) They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

They appear righteous but they are not. There is NO LIFE in them.

(5) They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good
(6) Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

If we are dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why are we subject to their ordinances?

(20) Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
(21) (Touch not; taste not; handle not;

We are PERISHING as we set aside the commandment of God to have love for one another in order to keep the commandments and doctrines of men.

(22) Which all are to perish with the using) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
(23) Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

Yet, many suffer those who bring them into bondage GLADLY. If a man brings them into bondage and devours them and takes advantage of them and lets a man exalt himself over them and smites them on the face, MANY allow them to do these things GLADLY as they see themselves as “wise”.

2 JV
(19) For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.
(20) For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.

But whosoever lives and believes in Him shall not die to the age. Do we really believe this or are we listening to the chief priests and Pharisees who make the grave a certainty in your life as they keep you in bondage to death with their handwritings of dogmas and make us their perishable merchandise?

(23) Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
(24) Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
(25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
(26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

How many think like Martha who said the resurrection comes on the last day (the third day) when Jesus says I am the resurrection and the life NOW? He who WAS DEAD is ALIVE NOW.

Martha did not exactly confirm this. She believed that He was the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. And then she goes “her way”. How many are doing the same thing today? Do we believe in vain that He is risen from the dead now and yet reject the belief that we shall not die to the age if we believe in Him? Are we going our own way? Are we ashamed of His words?

(27) She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
(28) And when she had so said, she went her way,
and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.

We are “dead” already in sins and the uncircumcision of our flesh. We are already “dead” in trespasses and sins. Our mortal bodies are decaying away to the grave even now as we speak. We are “dead” people even while we walk this earth. But by His grace are we “saved”….healed of this death wholly: mortal BODY, soul and spirit.

(4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
(5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)
(6) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

If we just have hope only in this life, then we are truly men most miserable. There is more than just hope….for NOW is Christ alive and has been risen from the dead. If He is risen NOW, then we who believe are also RISEN NOW and shall LIVE now. If we are preaching that we die first and then be risen later, this is saying Christ has not been risen from the dead now and we are still dead in our sins and our faith is for nothing.

We STAND NOW in this life. We are saved now in this life. Today is the day of salvation. Behold, NOW is the accepted time. Behold, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION….not after we “die and go to heaven”. Let us depart from the “let’s-eat- and- drink- for- tomorrow -we die” crowd.

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 KJV
(1) We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
(2) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

He is risen from the dead NOW and is ALIVE NOW. We are to keep this in our memory and not believe in vain.

Fortunately by HIS GRACE, the Lord shall deliver us from the “grave” of religious-sounding men for there is NO ONE ELSE capable of delivering us from the hands of the enemies. The Lord Himself descends from heaven (in our hearing His voice) with a “shout”….a commandment to ARISE from the “dead”. He has the keys of hell and death. He takes away the handwriting of ordinances that are contrary to us. He makes a show of them openly as He triumphs over the doctrines and commandments of men and their rulers as we see His knowledge and depart from the grave.

Matthew 28:1-2 KJV
(1) In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
(2) And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

We are to AWAKE from our “sleep” and ARISE from the “dead”. We are to see the Light of the knowledge of God. Why seek the living among dead men and their dead works? Have NO FELLOWSHIP with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather reprove them by leaving them. When we leave them, they will be enraged with us and will think it strange that we no longer run with them. There will be persecutions….but we are not to render evil for their evil as we await for His life to appear….to manifest in our mortal flesh…. to His and our glory.

(11) And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
(12) For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
(13) But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
(14) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

We have a commandment to ARISE and let us go from hence. We are to arise from the "dead" and depart from the men who preach themselves. We are to do so that the world may know that we love the Father and keep His commandments.

(30) Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
(31) But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a “shout”….a commandment to “ARISE and let us go hence”. The “dead in Christ” shall arise first….that is, the words of all the biblical saints shall be made alive in our hearing. Those who will hear and believe in their words as interpreted in Christ are to be “alive and remain”. We hear and remain in our faith of the hearing of their words in Christ Jesus. We remain by behaving with brotherly love. Those who will not believe will remain “dead” in their unbelief and stubbornness. The good news is preached to the “dead” also so that they may be judged according to men in the flesh so that their spirit may be saved. They reap what they will sow….destruction of the flesh so that the spirit may be saved.

1nbsp; KJV
(16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

We shall be caught up together in clouds with the words of the saints to meet the Lord in the air. This is not literal. We shall then be able to preach His words with Him to others in the air where words travels to the listeners’ ears….he that has ears, let him hear. We are surrounded by the cloud of witnesses.

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

These words are to be used for the comfort of others….the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ who has brought to light LIFE NOW. He has abolished death and brought to light “immortality”…undecaying. We shall not PERISH in the flesh but have an age-lasting life.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

THEY….the “dead in Christ”…for they had faith yet died without receiving the promises but saw them from afar….shall not be made complete WITHOUT us. Their words shall be enlivened by the voice of our Lord and we shall be caught up together with them in clouds so that we may speak their words to others.

(35) Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
(36) And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
(37) They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
(38) (Of whom the world was not worthy they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
(39) And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

(40) God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

We are to “come forth” from the grave and so death is to be defeated: loose him and let him go. He cried with a loud voice....a commandment....a shout.....

(43) And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
(44) And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Our face is bound about with a napkin…..the face of the covering cast over all people….that is, DEATH. He shall swallow up death in victory. He shall take away our rebuke from off THE EARTH… the here and now. We shall understand and receive His life in the here and now so that God may be glorified in all of the earth through us. He is alive now....death has no more hold on Him....and we are to believe in that so that we are risen and are alive in Him NOW where death has no more dominion over us as well.

(7) And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.
(8) He will swallow up death in victory;
and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
(9) And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
