They spoke of His "decease"....that is, EXODUS....

The Lord comes to open up the Scriptures to our understanding so that we may know Him who is true. He sends His people out to speak His words of life and spirit to the churches and we are expected to hear and DO His commandments to have love for those sent by Him. We are to be ever watchful for His coming and not "beat" upon those who are sent by Him to preach His Word. We are to remember to always be hospitable and entertain strangers and their words and not think that the Lord delays His coming.

Matthew 24:48-51 KJV
(48) But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
(49) And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
(50) The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
(51) And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

We are to escape from those who are living in error as many will hear His voice but will not obey. They will be “ashamed” of Him and His words….the “holy angels”. The holy messengers are the words of all the biblical saints…..the great “cloud” of witnesses….that He comes with and we are to hear Him who will interpret those words. His words = the holy angels...the holy messengers that come to our ears.

Luke 9:
(26) For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
(27) But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
(28) And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.

We are to be also transformed by the renewing of our minds into His image as we hear Him who changes the Scriptures into understanding.

(29) And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

He opens up the Scriptures……Moses and the Prophets (Elijah)…..for they appear in glory with Him as He interprets their words in the Spirit of God which breaths the breath of life into them. They “talk” with Him for He interprets the Scriptures for our understanding. We hear His voice speaking to us through the interpretation of the Scriptures as men preach as they are led by the Spirit.

The words are changed in the twinkling of an eye….in our understanding…and we are to be changed along with them….to be transformed into His image as we shall fulfill the Law and the prophets by having brotherly love towards those who will be sent by Him speak with “Moses and Elijah” in the Spirit….interpreting the Scriptures in Christ. .

(30) And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:

They speak of His “decease”….which is the word “EXODUS”. We are to hear and follow Him…. and “exodus” out from among those who will not believe in what they will hear and will behave in evil.

(31) Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

We are to “awake” from our sleep and cast off the works of darkness….all of the envy, strife and contention….and see His glory and the “two men” that stand with Him.

(32) But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

We are to HEAR HIM instead of men that know not the Scriptures. Men who do not understand what they are saying have built “tabernacles” of men based on their own private interpretations. We are not to hear them but hear Him who speaks in the Spirit the words of the prophets in truth and sincerity. We are to believe and exit out of the tabernacles of men when we hear His voice.

(33) And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

The “cloud of witnesses” speak to us in His voice and we are to enter in by hearing and BELIEVING on Him.

(34) While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud
(35)
And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

We are to no longer to listen to men who build tabernacles based on their wresting of the Scriptures. They (whom we leave behind) will persecute us for leaving them for His sake. We are to look unto Jesus only….the author and finisher of our faith: “Jesus was found alone”.

(36) And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

The Lord is that Spirit….that Breath…that interprets the Scriptures….the “Old Testament”. We are to hear His interpretation and NOT the private interpretations of men that know not the Scriptures nor the power of God. We are to wake up from our sleep and remember to have love for those sent by Him to open up the Scriptures to our understanding…..

2 Corinthians 3:14-18 KJV
(14) But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
(15) But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
(16) Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
(17) Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

We are to hear the Spirit of Truth and be changed into the same image from glory to glory. We are transformed from the heart to the outside…..the mortal flesh…as we behold the glory of the Lord. We are “transfigured” also just as Jesus when we hear His voice and awake from our sleep and believe in what we hear and do what He says. We are to EXIT from those who are living in error.

(18) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

If the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead shall dwell in us, then He that raised up Christ from the death shall also enliven our MORTAL BODIES in the here and now by His Spirit that shall dwell in us. Let us hear and not live after the flesh but after the Spirit and deaden the urge to contend with what we hear. Be filled with what the Spirit is saying and not with the wine of wrath of those who will seek to defend their own religious thoughts and ways when they hear His voice.

Romans 8:11-14 KJV
(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

The Lord comes to open up our minds to understanding the Scriptures…..the Light shines in the “prison” and we are to “arise up quickly” and cast the works of darkness off….

Acts 12:7-9 KJV
(7) And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

We are to put on Jesus and follow Him OUT of the “prisons” of men….

(8) And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
(9) And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

We are surrounded by a great “cloud” of witnesses….all of the biblical saints who had faith. On the mount of transfiguration, the disciples saw “no man any more” but only Jesus with themselves…..looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. We also are to look unto Jesus alone….the author and finisher of our faith.

Mark 9:7-8 KJV
(7) And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
(8) And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

We are compassed with a great cloud of witness. We are to run with patience the race that is set before us. We are to come out from among the “churches” of men and FOLLOW HIM. We are not to render evil for their evil when we “run” the race with patience that is set before us. Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which does so easily entangle us and exit from them without returning evil for their evil when they will speak of us as “evildoers”. We shall suffer persecutions for following Him OUT of the tabernacles of men.

Hebrews 12:1-4 KJV
(1) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

We are to see no man anymore but Jesus ONLY with us as we follow Him and sharing in His persecutions. We are to take up the cross and follow Him “without the camp” of man’s religious tabernacles and endure the persecutions that will arise for doing so. Let us take up our cross and follow Him by not rendering evil for their evil because of the JOY that is set before us.

(2) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We are to look unto Him while following Him out …..and consider Him that also endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself….lest we by wearied by their persecution and faint in our minds.

(3) For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
(4) Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

The light affliction will only be for a “moment” and works for us a FAR MORE exceeding and “eternal” weight of glory……in the here and now. The JOY is set before us: “eternal life” in the here and now. We are to “die” to sin always when they will persecute us (the light affliction) and our works shall follow us for we shall obtain His far more exceeding weight of glory.

2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV
(17) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

The Lord comes to open up the Scriptures to our understanding….the light shines in the “prison”. We are to obtain the precious faith with them….with all of the biblical saints….through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:
(1) Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

Grace and peace shall be multiplied unto us through the KNOWLEDGE of God and of Jesus our Lord.

(2) Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

He has given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto LIFE NOW and godliness through the KNOWLEDGE of Him that call us to glory and virtue.

(3) According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

We are to ESCAPE the DECAY that is in the world through lust and be made partakers of the divine nature…..having “eternal life”….not perishing from this earth….not decaying away to the grave . We have exceedingly great and precious promises ahead for us so let us endure the persecutions of those we escape from.

(4) Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

We are to cast away all of the works of darkness and follow after Him…..ADDING TO OUR FAITH these things:

(5) And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
(6) And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
(7) And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

If we DO THESE THINGS, we shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(8) For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(9) But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

If we DO THESE THINGS ( the “first works”), we shall never fall…..

(10) Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

We shall enter in to the understanding of the Scriptures. An entrance shall be ministered unto us ABUNDANTLY into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We shall enter into the “cloud of witnesses” with fear…adding to faith all of the goodness of Him.

(11) For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Peter tells us to remember these things always….

(12) Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

…..for we are to put off the “tabernacles” of men and we are to REMEMBER to do all of these things because they will PERSECUTE us for the putting off their “churches”….the “tabernacles” of men who know not what they are talking about. He “stirs” us up….awakens us from our “sleep”…. by putting us in remembrance of these things. The Scriptures themselves will put off the private interpretations of men and are transformed by the speaking of Him through the Spirit.

(13) Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

We MUST put off the “tabernacles” of men quickly….as the Lord Jesus Christ has showed us. The Scriptures (Moses and Elijah) speak of His EXODUS…and we are to follow Him OUT from among those who will love to “sleep” and will not remember to do these things.

(14) Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

We are to remember these things for they will persecute us when we exit (exodus) from the tabernacles of men. After our EXODUS from the tabernacles of men, they will persecute us but we must remember to do all of these things.

(15) Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

We are to hear Him as He opens up the Scriptures to our understanding…..as they (all of the biblical saints) make know unto us the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. They are the “cloud of witnesses” that we enter into….as they are “eyewitnesses of His majesty”.

(16) For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
(17) For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
(18) And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

We are to listen to His opening up of the Scriptures….His interpretation of them…the more sure word of prophecy….and we are to take heed on how we hear as unto a light that shines in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star arises in our hearts. The witness of God is in our hearts….the day star “mounts” up in our hearts. It raises in our hearts….the holy mount (rising).

(19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

No prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. The tabernacles of men ….their churches….are all built upon the teachings of men who know not the Scriptures and wrest them unto their own destruction. Peter said unto Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said. “

(20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Holy men preach His Word as they are moved by the Holy Spirit.

(21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Holy men speak as they are moved by the Holy Spirit. If we receive the witness of men who speak with the Holy Spirit (the sons of God are led by the Spirit), the witness of God is greater….and His witness is IN our hearts that this is His Son speaking.

1 John 5:9-13 KJV
(9) If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

He that believes on the Son of God (and those who are sent by Him), has the witness IN himself. The witness of God is in our very hearts as our hearts shall burn when the Son will open up the Scriptures to our understanding. Whoever believes not the record that God gives of His Son has made Him a liar.

(10) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
(11) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

(12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

When He shall open up the Scriptures to our understanding, we are to believe on the “name”….the AUTHORITY….of the Son of God. His words are Truth while carnal man’s private interpretations are not. Let God be true and every man a liar. We are to believe on His authority and DO His commandments to have love for those whom He sends.

(13) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God….for we DO His commandment to have love for another who was sent to preach the Word to them. Every one that loves the Father loves those who are begotten of Him….the children of God sent to preach to them. This is the love of God…..we keep His commandments.

1 John 5:1-3 KJV
(1) Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
(2) By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
(3) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous
.

We are to hear and let brotherly love continue….for in doing so we may entertain “angels”…messengers... unawares.

Hebrews 13:1-25 KJV
(1) Let brotherly love continue.
(2) Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
(3) Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
(4) Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
(5) Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
(6) So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Remember them which have the “rule” over you…those who will have spoken unto you the Word of God as they are moved by the Holy Spirit and whose faith we are to follow. Consider the “end” (Greek word “ekbasis” = “TO EXIT, escape”) of their behavior. We are to follow them in their faith of Jesus and EXIT also from the tabernacles of men. Their behavior is to lead the way out (exit) of the tabernacles of men.

(7) Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
(8) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
(9) Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

We have an altar of which they that serve the tabernacle of men have no right to eat of.

(10) We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
(11) For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
(12) Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Let us also EXIT from the camp bearing His reproach…for those we leave behind shall persecute us.

(13) Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

For we have no continuing city in the tabernacles of men but we shall seek one to come.

(14) For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
(15) By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
(16) But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
(17) Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

(18) Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
(19) But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

It is EXPEDIENT for us to follow Him out. If we do not “go away”, then the Comforter will not come unto us. But if we depart from the tabernacles of men, He will send him unto us. The Comforter is sent as we shall be persecuted for exiting from among those who we will no longer run with after their church things.

John 16:1-16 KJV
(1) These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
(2) They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
(3) And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
(4) But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
(5) But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
(6) But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

(7) Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

(8) And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
(9) Of sin, because they believe not on me;
(10) Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
(11) Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
(12) I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

But when we leave, the Spirit of Truth shall come unto us and will show us things to come (prophecy of the Scriptures) for no prophecy if of man’s private interpretation. We shall understand the Scriptures and have no need of men to teach us for the Spirit shall guide us into all truth.

(13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
(14) He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
(15) All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

(16) A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
