Thought for Today

Good Day, Friends; During this time of year we must endure long shopping lines, crabby persons, inconsiderate sales clerks, drivers in a hurry and persons who just don't consider the feelings of others.
Patience is a virtue, so when these things start to irritate you, just remember what we are told in the Book of Isaiah 40:31, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not be faint."
May God's Blessings be with you and don't let the stresses of the season get you down. There is strength in God; allow Him to keep you strong.

Thanks Pastor Gary. I won't let all this stress me out cause I have done my shopping over the year. Just the other day some man wanted to fight over a parking spot and I just ushered him into it. He didn't even say thankyou.

Just read a little prayer from my Christmas Almanac that I would like to share;

A NATIVITY PRAYER

Dear friends , we should love each other , because love comes from God..... 1 John 4 :7

This season can be overpowering, Lord . Sweetness and antiquity have come together again to celebrate something old and beautiful in the blood. Letus not be lost in distractions. Let us celebrate our true nativity. Let us remember the pain that laboured us here, that made us children of the MOST HIGH. , love that imposed itself upon a young maiden, love that grew in her till she cried out in a night that gave Christ to the world. O, let heaven rest in me, even as it did on that cradled and quiet night so long ago, when her prince was given to us.

In Jesus, my true nativity, amen.
