May Return to Romania

Hello brothers and sisters;

I will be traveling with a group of pastors flying to Romania soon. We will serve alongside a Baptist Association of 60 churches. We'll have small group interaction with the pastors and their servants, and discuss a formal partnership between our associations in Romania and the United States.

I'll be preaching 4 separate sermons at two churches each Sunday. Since most don't speak English a translator will assist me during the message.

We will also travel to the border area and distribute clothing, blankets and food. Careful measures are being taken so if our travel safety is compromised then we won't go. We're praying with God's covering we will go.

Attached are 8 photos. The last one is the president and his wife, Pastor Catalin and Paula Croitor.

I'm excited and there will be a lot of work on this short term mission. I'm asking everyone, please keep me in your prayers.

Galatians 2:20, 20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Preserve and strengthen our brother Bob and his companions in their travels; surround them with your loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring them in safety to their journey’s destination. Almighty Father, see them safely through their ministry abroad and bring them safely home again.

Yes, talking to the Lord for your keeping.
The media doesn't paint a very pretty picture about the border area, but it's far away. I believe being there will be a life changing, eye opening experience. Being a Canadian born in 55 I'm thankful I've never had to go through anything like that.

Hello brothers and sisters at CFS;

Thank you all for your love, support and prayers. Departure is approaching and I'm finishing final preparations for our mission trip to Romania.

I have decided not to take a laptop but will take my cell phone in case I have to make a call back home.

I'm committed to do what God will have me do. Whoever crosses my path, whoever speaks to me, whatever opportunity or task come my way, my prayer is the Lord will send and use me, tell me what to say or do at that time or moment. Most of all, it's helping bring one more person to Christ Jesus.
