What does it mean to repent and believe?

When Jesus said “Repent,” He was talking about a change of heart toward sin, the world, and God; an inner change that gives rise to new ways of living that exalt Christ and give evidence of the truth of the gospel.
Why is repentance necessary for salvation?
Repentance is a turning around in mind that results in a turning around in body. If there is no turning around, there was no repentance. If one is not right in the sight of God, turning is obviously something that must be done, a change has to be made, and repentance is a necessity! Therefore if you do not truly repent you do not Love God, and can not be saved!

I wish that I was better at words to describe things. This revival of repentance and thanksgiving
that I've been in over the past 5 months, has really affected my walk with the Lord a lot. Not that I
wasn't repentful in my previous 45 years of serving the Lord, but this is more of a daily attitude of
repentance and cleansing that I've never experienced before, and I'm so very thankful to the
Lord for this!

Yes, I've seen and researched a lot of teaching's on repentance, but none of them are as complete
and heartfelt and true as this brother Jesse's lesson on True Repentance!
Thank you for your dear comment, dear sister!
