Hello,
I believe I was led here by the Holy Spirit thru a devotional I am currently using, called None But The Hungry, by Miles Stanford. I have been browsing various threads here and pray that I can be used to encourage, exhort, and love other believers. I know I have much to learn but trust the Holy Spirit will teach me all things.
In 2002, I was brought to my knees over conviction of my past sins and the Lord's leading as I had begun to read the entire Holy Bible. I was blessed by the reward for my seeking Him in His Word. He revealed Himself to me in it. My life changed as I repented and believed. I have been growing
in the knowledge of His truth ever since then. The Lord led me to a small, local fellowship in 2004., of like minded believers and He continues to grow me up in Him.
I thought I was a Christian as my mom (now deceased) had played the organ in the church of my childhood, and my dad(also deceased) ushered, but I never saw them read the Bible or teach me in it. I did not know I was not a Christian until the Lord drew me to His Truth. I married my husband, whom I love, thinking he was a Christian before I was born again. Now all I can do is abide in the Lord and pray for my husband, who prefers to live his life doing what he likes without God. I don't push or preach, and I speak when the Lord leads me, but I know I can witness without a word.
I love the Lord Jesus and know He is sanctifying me. I love the Word of God and I feed on Him every day in it. Thanks for the blessing of your fellowship.
