What is going through your mind these days?
· Fear
· Panic
· Preparation for “doom’s day”
· Hoarding food
· Hiding out in what seems to be a safe place
The list could go on and on.
But WHAT IF... you had a way to deal with the fear and panic of the day.
WHAT IF... you put your complete faith in the One who can handle any/every situation.
WHAT IF... you truly believed what God has already said to us:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10
WHAT IF we can get to that level of understanding and faith, then we could be in obedience to this command:
"Feed the hungry! Help those in trouble! Then your light will shine out from the darkness,
and the darkness around you shall be as bright as day.”
Isaiah 58:10
Or do we choose to look after “self” first?
“Keep me from the sins of pride; don’t let them rule me.
Then I can be pure and innocent of the greatest of sins.”
Psalm 19:13
"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty
or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these,
you did not do for me.'
Matthew 25:44-45
“Then I'll tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you evildoers”!'"

But, WHAT IF... we responded to the needs of those around us?
What would God say?
He has already addressed this issue.
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things;
I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
Matthew 25:23
Be bold! Take a risk.
