Please know that we all go through some storms in our lives, and if you have not lived long enough to experience one yet, one is coming! Knowing how to deal with these storms can be a matter of life and death, and one of the secrets to overcoming, and making it through the storm, is to Praise the Lord in your storm until your Rainbow appears,
like it did for Job!
This is not easy to do looking at the waves, trying to see and find the lighthouse threw the blinding rain, and fearing the loud claps of Thunder all around you. But there is Peace and Rest that you can find in your storm as you wait to see Jesus walking on the water to your rescue! But, for reasons He only knows, many times he waits until you are just about underwater sinking in despair to come to the rescue!
Brother, sister, I'm actually in a storm right now as I'm writing, but am sharing with you about the Peace and the Rest that I found in Praising the Lord in my storm! When will my storm end? I don't know, but I have Peace knowing that soon I'll see my Rainbow covenant of His Amazing Love spread over my Dark and weary sky!
Really, the Lord has already come and rescued me, and He and I are just sitting on top of the waves smiling and laughing at the devil as he blows by with his umbrella!.....
My prayer for you just now!
Heavenly Father, my burdened heart reaches out in humble prayer to you just now, for my brother or sister that is going through a really Dark and weary storm in their life right now. And Lord Jesus, maybe up until now, the loud winds and thunder and the rain, have hidden your calming soft, and peaceful voice. But now I pray, that your kind words of Love and Hope would send a ray of comfort to them just now. Silence the Thunder, just long enough for them to hear you say, I am with you, be not afraid! I feel your Holy Spirit reaching them as I pray this, and I ask this thing for your glory, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen!
