Worship

Worship is surrender to and reverence of the person or thing being worshipped.
Praise is magnification of the person or thing being praised.
Worship and praise both elevate the subject of the worship and praise above the one who is worshipping and praising.

We worship and praise God with our daily and moment by moment surrender to Him.
We worship and praise Him when we honor Him in our discussions, our work, and our studies.
We worship and praise Him when we tell others how and why Jesus was lifted up on the cross.
We worship and praise Him when we put His will and His desires before our own.

Sometimes our worship manifests in song and dance, but we must not forget or let our brothers and sisters forget, that worship and praise is not limited to a single type of action or to specific times. It is a lifetime commitment from us that God and God alone deserves.
