Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God.
Think of all the good that has come from their lives,
and follow the example of their faith.”
Hebrews 13:7

Understand that your conduct is the most effective sermon you will ever preach.
Live a life that will give consistent undeniable evidence of the truth of the gospel.

I agree with you regarding the "many examples of faith in the Bible".
But I believe if we did a biblical search on other biblical topics as well,
we may be surprised at how many there are.

People who know us should be able to say about us..."that's a real Christian"

People who need us should be able to say about us..."They are always there for you".

God should be able to say about us...."Dependable" and "has studied to show themselves approved".
God will take "dependable' over "trying to be perfect", all day, and all night, and from now on.

And a person says......>"but are we not to strive for perfection".....
A.) Not quite.
See, Paul tells us that when He is weak, then Christ is Strong.
This means that if we are trying to "perform Christianity" then we by our self effort became this.... Jesus said.."Apart from me you can do nothing".
So, Christianity as real discipleship is "God through us", vs us trying to be whatever we think in our head's means, to "be like Christ".
This is why Paul explains that...>"it is not I but Christ who lives in me"....
That is Paul not trying to be a figure of Christ, but rather that Is Paul being a willing vessel of God.
