How praying in Tongues helped rescue the missing girl

This is about the 11 years old that was missing for 4 days in alligator infested swampland. Most of the news reports would not mention this, but a few said it was a miracle or that they prayed she would be found, deliberately only quoting a part of what was said and leaving this part out.

This is only one of many many examples of how praying in tongues, that is, praying in the spirit, can help others in our daily life and is very needful. God knows all and we are praying it out. HE knew where the girl was. Then we either speak out (interpret it) in English what we prayed in tongues, or follow the impressions God gives us step by step as He guides the way.


At one point, about three dozen church members broke into song in the driveway in front of the church, singing "Shout Halleluiah."
"James said he was praying. He said he was praying in tongues, he was praying in spirits and he went right to her," Sandra Green said. Green is the wife of Metro Church pastor Randy Green.

I had a similar incident concerning guidance to happen to me just two days ago.

I went out of town and knew basically where I was headed but when I was getting closer I realized I had forgotten to bring the address I had written down. I even looked in 2 phone books and it was not in there. There was no way I could remember it and not familiar where I was going. I began to pray in the Spirit and asking the Lord to give me the interpretation or reveal or impress upon me what I was saying and to lead me. Then a street name came to mind, thank the Lord for that. So I found it and got on it and kept going. Then I ran into a detour but kept praying. I followed the detour then just followed the streets I was impressed to go on to get back to the road that had been closed, I felt I was getting close so slowed down and started looking around and within two block I saw it! I drove right to it! Praise the Lord for His awesome gifts to help the Body of Christ!
 
If more people would listen to the prompting of the holy spirit this would be a totally different world!!!!

I do believe that the Holy Spirit leads and guides us throughout all we do. When we pray in tongues, we are praying in a language that the devil cannot understand and only known to God. I believe that God moved his Holy Spirit over them to speak in tongues to confuse the devil so that God will in leading them to locate this child be done divinely and the glory given to God. And it happened just like that. All who know the power of God and and the power of prayer know that this was a miracle from God himself. I wonder if they realize that the child was found by believers who believe in the Power of Prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit. To be delivered from an alligator infested area is nothing but God Himself. God has revealed another character of himself in the name "Chief Shepherd"

That's right! It's a hot line to heaven so the enemy can't interfer LOL

Amen! He moves on us and we co-operate with Him. The result is He gets the glory.



All who know the power of God and and the power of prayer know that this was a miracle from God himself. I wonder if they realize that the child was found by believers who believe in the Power of Prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit.


He wants His power to be known and it draws people back to Him when they realize He is just as powerful as He ever was.

King said that as he got deeper into the wilderness looking for Nadia, he kept repeating verses from the Bible for guidance, including one from Proverbs that says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding ... And He will direct your paths."

Nadia recited these words with him once he found her, said King, who said he works for Elbit Systems of America, a subsidiary of an Israeli defense contractor.
King said he was surprised by how calm Nadia was when he reached her in a dry patch in the middle of the swamp.​




 
Yes, Hallelujah!

Never thought of it that way, but it makes senses that the special prayer language the Spirit uses would be known only to God. Makes for truly private communication.
