Advice on freelancing Graphic Design needed...

Gosh! :( I'm a day late and a dollar short for shill's post ! I've been thinking about putting together an online graphic design business for some time now. Maybe even a little simple web design, as well. My problem is that I'm strictly an artist and know very little about the business side of such an occupation. I was thinking about setting up a sub domain at my site as a focal point for the business. I can foresee problems down the road as far as payment over the internet goes. Any advice anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi RG,

I use BlueHost for my hosting service, and am very happy with them. They will let you host unlimited domain names/sub domains on the one account, and have lots of other good stuff. They are also very reasonably priced. If you decide to use them and sign up through this link http://www.bluehost.com/track/gtkmi Glory to the King Ministries will get a commission (but I would promote them even without the commission, they really are a great company.)

For payments, I suggest you sign up with PayPal. Make sure you get a business account, as this will allow you to receive credit card payments.

If I can help with anything else, just ask.

blessings,

Lynn
