When do Jesus know what was in store for him in the future.?

Wayne Grudem ‘’Christian Beliefs. 20 Basics Every Christian Should Know’’

On Perseverance. Page110-112.

(Assurance of Perseverance)
‘’If you have confidence in Christ’s work on your behalf, confidence in Christ’s ability to take the penalty for your sins & take you, without blame, to heaven, confident that Christ should let you into heaven based only on his work & not on yours, & if that confidence is currently present in your life, then that confidence should act as an assurance of your true faith, based only on behalf.’’-----

‘’Perseverance through the process.
Sanctification is a lifelong process. If you are a believer in Jesus, at times it will seem as if the process is going at a faster rate than you ever thought possible. It’s at these time you need to guard against pride & self- righteousness – thinking yourself better that you are& taking credit for your that is really a gift of grace. At other times you will wonder if there is any life inside of you at all. It’s at these times that you may wonder if you are ever truly a Christian. When the doubts begin to fill your thoughts prayer the prayer found in Mark 9:24: ‘I believe; help me in my unbelief!.
And in the midst of it all, hold sure to the promise that ‘by God’s power’ you’ are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time’ (1 Peter 1:5) And take confidence in Jesus’ statement that ‘this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son & believe in him should have eternal life & I will raise him up on the last day’ (John 6:40) ‘’

When did Jesus know what was in store for Him later.?
Did His perseverance really kick in.?
was it in the garden of Gethsemane?
or much earlier.?
Are there other examples of the perseverance of Jesus that can be examples to us.?

Unbelief is as the sin of witch-craft. We can doubt that God will help us, but we can NEVER doubt that He exists. His children hear and KNOW His voice. If we do not hear His voice we need to harshly examine ourselves and find out why He is not speaking to us like He used to. If we have never heard His voice, we have NEVER been a Christian. A Christian can NEVER be an atheist! :) Just had to get that off my chest. Been having tense discussions with atheists.

When did Jesus know what was in store for Him later.? Before the foundations of the earth.
Did His perseverance really kick in.? No, His love for His Father kicked in, creating perseverance.
was it in the garden of Gethsemane? Yes
or much earlier.? Huh?
Are there other examples of the perseverance of Jesus that can be examples to us.? Every second He was on earth? From day 1 Jesus was submitting to The will of The Father. That required perseverance, from day 1. I trust He would much rather have been in heaven.

''Then there were his disciples. They never seemed to really get it. He is teaching people and loving them, and the disciples are trying to keep people away, children and others they considered outsiders. Jesus was trying to get them to understand about his coming death and suffering, and they weren't listening, because they were so busy arguing about who was the greatest.''

Doesn't that hurt folks. We're still in those early states of reality, yes??

Later she said ''Jesus had all kinds of difficulties with people who tried their best to make His life miserable. There were the legalistic religious leaders who plagued his every step.''

But He continued to go to where His father was.

Are we ready to die to ourselves or even physically so we might continue on to meet Him face to face, if we aren't we wont meet Him face to face, we'll be grovelling.
