What Does Jesus Think Of Other Religions?

What happens to Hindus, Jews, Muslims, and people of other religions? Do they go to hell or heaven? Name some bible passages please.

What do you think?

The bible is crystal clear in John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me''.

Does this make God bad? No, as Jesus knocks on everyones door Rev 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me and 1 Tim 2:4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth (Jesus).

Is religion all bad? No, unselfish works are good James 1:27. It shows you are a stone throw away from accepting Jesus because of James 4:8 and Psalm 51:17.

Then there is the principle of sanctification.... 1 Cor 7:14 and Matt 25:40 The latter applies to whoever helps the Jews in the tribulation. But the prinicple shows us something about God. If any non-Christian accepts Christians, they could be accepting Jesus.

It all comes down to this "are you willing to accept reality or not?"
Christianity is reality.
All other belief systems are pure nonsense.

What do you think the attitude of the Creator would be towards those who obstinately refuse
to accept reality?

Henry, there are two kinds of people in the world.

The FORGIVEN and the UN-FORGIVEN.

Some will call them the lost and the saved.

As has been listed for you by KingJ and that was by the Word of God and it was that Jesus is the only way for any person to be saved and escape the torments of hell. That is God's plan from the very beginning,

Now it is our ability to chose whether to believe that or reject it. God leaves that up to you.

I hope you choose wisely.

Henry, your profile suggests that you are a Christian...I'll respond to you on that basis.

I think Jesus' attitude to 'other religions is best expressed in this discourse He had with a woman from Samaria.
John 4:19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26. The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.” 21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” 25 The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.” 26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”

Ask yourself, is it possible to worship the Lord God "in spirit and truth" when one does not even know the truth?
No, no matter how religious a person is, without a personal knowledge of Jesus, effective worship of the Father is not going to happen.
In addition, Jesus said that "salvation is from the Jews".......that kind of rules out the Arabs, the Orientals and so on.
In deed it rules out all false messiahs..........as an aside, I can't think of any post first century Jewish false messiahs, only foreign pretenders.
hope this helps

They go to hell. But not the "Jews" Jews are a race of people and thus can't be listed in your group. That would be like asking where do blacks and Arabs and Indians go? Not cool.
Jews who reject Messiah go to Hell and those who receive the Jewish Messiah are saved.

For it is appointed once for a man to die and then cometh the judgment.

This is what the scripture teaches. Every man will be judged according to what he has done in his life. Because the wages for sin is death man must pay that debt in blood. The message of the Christian Jesus is that God sent His only Son as a ransom for man. Freedom from the penalty of sin is now offered by justification of the Christian - the believer in God's plan to save men. Justification is a declarative statement and a declarative act. It does not mean that the Christian is of himself just. He is not just, he is a sinner. But he has been declared just by virtue of the substitutionary act of debt paying by Messiah in his place, His death and burial and resurrection.
The Muslim the Jew the oriental will make no such claims of faith in Messiah's sacrifice and will be judged and found guilty because they had rejected the free offer of forgiveness/justification.

Same thing he thinks of all religions including yours. God don't dwell in churches made with man's hands because they are liars.

For it is appointed for man once to die after that the judgment.

Yes we are going to have a physical death..thats the once to die. After physical death comes judgment of resurrection which is the lake of fire where man's natural sinfull nature is done away with leaving man a reborn sinfree creature which saves man.

Man does not understand the lake of fire. It is NOT a hellfire. It is where Jesus finishes what he started on the cross....Salvation for all men where we are delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Hebrews 9:27 is the verse you are speaking of.

"And it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment".

Death is the natural sequence of events for man. For the UN-saved man, after death there is nothing but judgment. If the death of Christ did not save the lost man, then there is nothing ahead of him except the judgment.

But death is not appointed unto ALL men, thank God for that. It is appointed unto MEN once to die, but some are not going to die. The Bible clearly teaches the Rapture which will remove the believers in Christ before the wrath of God comes upon the earth. Enoch did not die, and Elijah did not die.

I must confess that I am not sure what you are trying to say by stateing.................
"It is where Jesus finishes what he started on the cross....Salvation for all men where we are delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God."

Now to say that the lake of fire is not hellfire is simply wrong.
Hell is real. hot and painful! Hell is NOT where Jesus finishes what He started on the cross.

It is where un-regenerated lost sinners choose to spend all of eternity because they rejected the Lord Jesus Christ. God gives all men an opportunity to be saved from the Lake of Fire in what Christ has done for ALL men, but every man must choose to be saved.

Anyone reading Luke 16 must come to that realization.

Death is for all men. You will physical die whether you deny it or not. It is the second death judgment where man is reborn and made sinfree. That's the finished result of his dying on the cross for man. Jesus' death is a promise to man that all will be saved however that is only promised and that promise will be fulfilled in the end, the lake of fire second death judgment. First promised and then fulfilled. No man can choose anything. Man can do nothing. Jesus is the reason. We have to boast in him and not ourselves.

Enoch and Elijah will die,
they are the two witnesses mentioned in Revelations that are murdered by the anti-Christ.

I just do not know Glomung. That has been something I have worked on for a long time and I just do not know.

Hebrews 9:27 can not really be used as a basis to say that ALL men will in fact die.

Consider the Rapture. There will be millions who will be Raptured without going through the door of death just as did Enoch and Elijah. Then consider Lazarus and the others who died and were raised from the dead and died twice. So we can see that there are exceptions.

Heb. 9:27 is the only verse that says "As it is appointed unto men once to die" and the relation of that verse to its context is most often dismissed in order to stress the certainity of mans future judgment.

1.
You said..........."Death is for all men".

NOPE. Elijah and Enoch did not die. When the Rapture takes place, millions will not die but will be glorified in the twinkling of an eye.

2.
You said..........."You will physical die whether you deny it or not."

NOPE. Read comments on #1.

3.
You said.............."It is the second death judgment where man is reborn and made sinfree"

NOPE! The Second death is separation from God and no man can be born again once he has died.
Rev. 20:14 says......."And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH".

4. You said............"Jesus' death is a promise to man that all will be saved"

NOPE! Again, you are trying to hijack this thread in an attempt to expound the false doctrine of Universal Salvation.
Universal Salvation is heresy!!!! There is not one single verse in the Scriptures that say all men will be saved. NOT ONE!!!

5.
You said................." No man can choose anything."

NOPE! You choose to come to this web site. YOU choose to believe in a false doctrine. I choose to answer you and confront your heresy opinions. I choose to turn on my computer today. I choose to have a cup of coffee today.

I am not a mean and vocal person who goes out of their way to confront people and to argue. But I am also a hungry bulldog with a ham bone when it comes to those who try to spread heresy and purposefully choose to teach false doctrine of Biblical matters. There are lots and lots of good people who read these postings and do not comment and the false opinions you are asserting can not go un-challenged for their sake.

Texas........you are showing all of us that you really do not have an understanding of Biblical doctrines and the truth of God's Word. IF you had read the Word and studied it you would not be able to make the claims you are making.

The fact that you already have said.....
"Lucifer is not an angel that fell from heaven. You are taking something to be literal when its not to be taken that way. It's a figure of speech. He was a man that lost his authoritative position" (What is your opinion of Isaiah 45:7, comment #34)

clearly shows your ignorance of the things you are commenting on.

Where in the world did you come up with the idea that Satan is a man???????
