Is God Personal . . . With His Own Children?

"But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

So, I would say yes You are personal with each of us, right in our "hearts", not just talking to us, at times, but all the time sharing Your own love with us and personally ruling each of us with Your very own peace. So, thank You! :)

If you can recall when God has spoken to you, like in your mind. Most likely not audibly, but through thoughts. I bet that if you look back at it now, you will realize that God talks to us, the same way that we talk. So if we say the words dude, or yall, or words of that nature that are our own unique way of talking, God will also talk that way to you. He wants you to understand Him, from the best angle that will personally makes sense to you. Sometimes His Word will speak to you though. And that is of whatever version you read. So i am not talking about those moments.

Yes we have a wonderful Lord. A real friend ( John 15v14), a marvelous and loving Father.
I do believe that He takes care of his children in a special way as we are precious to him too.. I also believe that He has a special relationship with his children.
Let us thank God for having such a lovely and precious God, for his grace, for his love, for dying for us at Calvary, for his blood that cleans us from all sin, for his gift of faith, for salvation, for selecting us without deserving it.
Just let us be thankfull to Jesus. Blessings Julio191

Yeah, Shine, I would say what we are thinking could be God communicating. But it can be not God. So, we need to have discernment. And our Apostle Paul says, "And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment." (Philippians 1:9)

So . . . in God's love, we have His knowledge and discernment being shared with us. By being in God's love, we have how love has us seeing things > this can be deeper communication than just words and thoughts :)

So, you are saying God will reach us at our level, I think you mean. And Paul says he became "all things to all men", in 1 Corinthians 9:19-23. So, he would become like someone who he was reaching to. Of course, isn't this our example . . . of how God wants us also to reach people, and not try to only get with people who are like us? So, how He is with us is His example for us to follow (Ephesians 5;1-2) :)

Thank you :) «¿Y quién es aquel que os podrá hacer daño, si vosotros seguís el bien?» (1 Pedro 3:13)

Discerning which voice is of God isn't all that tricky. God's voice is always life giving, always exhorting and comforting. Always out of a place of love.

You also said > So, you are saying God will reach us at our level, I think you mean...
I did mean that God will reach to us at our level actually. Just look at Jesus. He reached down to the level of prostitutes, tax collectors, fishermen, children... etc. Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God.

Hola Confy. Saludos desde España en el nombre del Señor. Our friend Shine is coming along nicely but he must continue to be careful about this question of voices and sentiments which sometimes can mislead and the enemy can use to deceive. All thoughts, dreams and sentiments should always have a biblical base. Que el Señor te bendiga. Blessings Julio191
