Conspiracy Theorist?

(The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from or where it goes, So is everyone who is born of the Spirit. John 3:8 NKJ)

Yes, I concur, there has been a lot of fear mongering. But we have to ask ourselves, why was a certain issue brought up in the first place? Is it justifiable?

I may be wrong, but does it seem that things change, ever so slowly, in the wrong direction, so people will remain complacent?

Ultimately, if there are answers we can know, we should seek them through prayer, and the Word. And yet, I don't think we are to know everything, nor could we comprehend everything, until which time Messiah Jesus returns, and we have passed through judgment.

Oh, I didn't listen to the video. I'm not really sure what they were rambling on about. It made little sense to me. You'll please forgive me because I am just a simple man.

If I tell you of earthly things and you won't believe me; how will you ever believe the truths of the Spiritual things?

May I offer some perspective?

Also let me communicate that I bring minor antagonism in a spirit of humility as I only prescribe consideration for thought.

Can we agree that conspiracy theory is highly misunderstood in society today, yet Brother_Mike_V, please also know, that I do not accuse you of being in a place of misunderstanding.

Unfortunately conspiracy theory is widely accepted as something that is “proposed to be true by using mere speculation”, however conspiracy theory throughout history is tangible speculation based on hypothesis and facts. Shall conspiracy theory have some of the best prediction percentages in history, rising far above government managed media propaganda, yet the results for both is highly ambiguous.

Conspiracy - an evil, unlawful, treacherous, or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons; plot

Theory - a coherent group of tested general propositions, commonly regarded as correct, that can be used as principles of explanation and prediction for a class of phenomena:

Shall conspiracy theory carry much weight for consideration? Do you feel to your point that this radio analyst is a “conspiracy theorist”? Also what points in this video are you referring to?

God bless you Brother Mike – please forgive my threaded request

I agree with the generals, although I wouldn’t say “tangible speculation” – what does that even mean?

dUmPsTeR - I find your humble heart to be quite moving, yet could it be that your humility cloaks your intellectual prudence in the form of wisdom, exampling Christ with respect toward others?

Wow, that's ^^^ a mouthful. *grin* I'm not quite sure what to say, but your comment did make me think of one of my favorite scriptures- 'And I set my heart to know wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is grasping for the wind. For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.' From one of my favorite books, Ecclesiastes, Chapter 1, verse 17 and 18 NKJ

Let me clarify the intend of this thread: I was hoping that folks would approach the above video (Link above) with an open mind and actually watch it and form an opinion about what the person in the video has to say about Jesus Christ and his faith.

Forgive my vagueness no_one

By tangible speculation, I would be more pointed to say, "substantiated hypotheses". Thus to indicate that the conspiracy theory would have factual evidential grounds to be conveyed or believed. This would of course not be conclusive as a whole but many facts would give it credibility.

Can Mr. Jones be considered a modern firebrand for the cause of individual liberty in the spirit of the early historic Thomas Paine, who had a talent to turn society upside down with some common sense, and who had the bravery to challenge dangerous satanic authority? Can he be described as a digital pamphleteer warning as many as possible about encroaching despotism and oppressive strategy, which develops in the confines of compulsory authority?

I should say yes quickly.

Yet shall credibility for conspiracy reporting be received as credible one story at a time where each individual shall judge with facts, reason and prayer. Can the story be marginalized more than the person?

Shall Mr Jone’s and, Mr Glenn Beck’s work, both be in my opinion the two largest media campaigns today that will care about individual liberty, where authoritarian compulsion is rejected in large measure based on principle. Yet they both have conflicts with each other to some differences, and I can only ascertain with opinion that both are growing closer together as their campaigns continue to reach unto foundational principles of individual liberty.

Is Mr. Jones a devout Christian, a repentant sinner, who will say, “I need Christ, and fall to the Lords guidance?”

I should say that this is his testimony often, yet I am highly unqualified to judge his personal walk with Christ.

@ Great Fiction: As you say Mr. Jones is an advocate for liberty; Do you think his faith applies to what he presents and that his arguments are valid and aligned with the true principles of truth and prophetic warning as Christ would have it?

Or do you think he is manipulating the system using 'fear mongering' and claims of 'Christianity' for personal financial gain?

Do you believe Mr. Jones and / or Mr. Beck to be sincere?

I do believe Mr. Jones and / Mr. Beck both to be highly sincere and both to have a sincere mission to warn, inform and restore liberty. I also think they see it a sincere personal mission to battle with persuasion against the throes of authoritarian despotism that encroaches upon us all.

Can we agree that the media business is a fickle delivery system that indulges sensationalism by nature? Also that both of these men are talented communicators that strategically engineer ratings in order to reach more people like any other radio personality?

Thus I suspect that the benign sensationalism which is present with both, are indeed a large part of their business model, yet their sensationalism to me does not cancel out their sincerity. Basically I find both entertaining but also patriotic as they both warn of evil despotism in their own sensational way.

To me they both seem to keep their basic priorities straight (yet I am highly unqualified to judge their intimacy with Christ), yet they both also engage the world on a secular stage where current affairs, politics and political principle all collide, and will promote Christ to a wide secular populace frequently.

I only wish that the church would give both of these men supporting dialog that the love of Christ needs to shine through or the world will reject the true message of peaceful liberty and resort to possible violence when economic calamity matures. For indeed economic tumult is coming.

Am suspicious of something is called a conspiracy theory:

two people or a group of people: the secret will not stay for so long or not in a big scale or at least not complicatedly planned….it is just that man is not loyal to schemes or they felt guilt-ridden….

Am looking for list or how actual conspiracy, and seems my suspicion is more likely:

"George and Wilcox assert that in the criminal justice system, actual conspiracies, and conspiracy theories can also be distinguished by scale, as actual conspiracies are usually small in scale and involve "a single event or issue".[

The term "conspiracy theory" has been slandered by the main stream media to the point that it has lost its' meaning to most of the public.
When questioning whether a conspiracy was involved in any occurance there are a few simple questions that can lead one to a sensible conclusion.
1. qui bono? what does a person or persons have to gain from being involved in a conspiracy to cause this
2. does the offical explanation have holes or blatant inconsistencies
3. does the ocurance have the general affect of silencing critics or generating fear in the populace
4. does the response to the occurance limit the liberties and welfare of the populace
5. does the occurance promote corporate monopoly or corporate gains in foreign lands
6. is the occurance meaningless to the point of absurdity

Conspiracy theories used for presenting information isn't always the best means to do so, but this doesn't mean conspiracy theories themselves should be discarded. Some of them come to fruition.

Hi :) I listened to some of the things the guy says, in the video which I was able to get. In case you don't want to read all of this, which is long, I have put in quotes, in blue, what I understand he is saying . . . not necessarily exact quotes.

He seems to be saying, "Stand up to the system or be a cowardly slave. Things are set up to control people and get their tax money. Lobbying is not for the individual."

Ok, but Jesus says, "not to resist an evil person," in Matthew 5:39. And Peter says . . . to the wicked . . . "You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you." (James 5:6) If we do what Jesus really means, we are trusting God who will do with us all that He is committed to doing . . . guaranteed. Look at how Jesus submitted to being whipped and beaten and nailed and then He rose with so much more than this evil world was able to take away. Even in this life, we get "resurrections" to more than all that problems and evil people and even we ourselves take from us :)

So, our attention needs to first be to God and to submitting to how He rules us in our hearts with His peace (Colossians 3:15, Matthew 11:28-30), not to controlling this evil world's people. And what does Paul our Apostle tell us to do? First to pray "for" people who are in power > "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

So, first our job specialty is to have compassion and prayer "for" people who are in power . . . "all who are in authority". And if this is what God is committed to, this is what will work best - - so "that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." It does not say, "so that we may have money and not have a lot of taxes." If we obey this, we can live quietly and in godliness, no matter what happens to money!!!

However, if we can be controlled by money, then we can be controlled by ones who control the money. But Paul says, "I will not be brought under the power of any," in 1 Corinthians 6:12. So, first is how we need to become "strong in the Lord" (Ephesians 6:10) so that people in financial power can not have power over us (which includes power to control our attention and emotions). We first need to be busy with submitting to our Father . . . for our own correction that we need > Hebrews 12:4-17. "For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17) So, are we first busy pointing out how we ourselves are wrong, so people can be wise to us?? Why is it that some number of people are so "good" at showing how others are wrong, but not at least as good at showing us how they themselves can be wrong and deceptive, so that we can be wise to them??

He says something like, "There are elite technological centers while there are mega-cities with people deprived." Yes, in this world people do compete to get what they want, more than others. This is standard fare, including how pretty much any school and college and university has a football team which competes, in order to be thought to be better than other schools and colleges - - so they can get money and a name for themselves. Competition has always been a basic of this world's system. And this, naturally, includes conspiracies for getting what people compete to get for their own selves.

But in the kingdom of Jesus, we are living in and led in our Father's family caring and sharing love. We are all "members of one another" (Romans 12:5, Ephesians 4:25) and have all things common > 1 Corinthians 3:21-23 > Paul, here, says "let no one boast in men. For all things are yours". With God, we take advantage of whatsoever Satan's kingdom of selfishness does.

The man in the video that I saw says something about "7,500 drones to spy and control, in case soldiers won't go along with unlawful orders." Yes, if conspiracy people were to try to use the army to control America, they "might" have some difficulty in getting the soldiers to cooperate. So, the idea goes that the conspiracy people can use 7,500 drones to spy so they can control people. Well, this would take the cooperation of all the tech workers and others, in order to use drones for invading Americans. Plus . . . my info tells me that America now has a population of three hundred million. Have fun, using only 7,500 drones to give you enough info on three hundred million Americans so you can control the United States. Not to mention . . . those drones might have a problem seeing inside people's houses . . . :) and inside their minds :)

He says something about the "Banks' new world order." Again . . . people can't control you by means of controlling your money, unless you are under the power and control of money. "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

He said something like, "People in power are dumbing us down so they can control us; they are megamaniacal." But it can be "megamaniacal" to suppose I can know what is going on in the minds of people of this whole world . . . to think I can read other people's real minds and intentions; this can mean I am trying to be God. In the United States we are required to presume someone innocent until evidence has been presented in court. I am not going to assume the Internet info is reliable; after all . . . there may be people in a conspiracy to get me to curse government leaders with my suspicions - - so that my attention is away from how caring prayer works.

In so many words, I understand, he is saying, "But they are taking risks and getting destructive results. Do they mean to destroy the earth? They are losing out, inside themselves." Well . . . Isaiah speaks of Satan as being "you who weakened the nations", in Isaiah 14:12. I will offer that this can mean that Satan's kingdom does not destroy the earth and destroy nations, but just does things to make people weak so he can control them. And part of making us weak can include getting our attention away from obeying how our Father rules us with His own peace in our hearts. And if we are kept away from this, we are weak so we can be controlled. And conspiracy theory stuff can help to keep our attention "elsewhere". "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth." (Colossians 3:2) Setting our minds on things above includes seeking to be submissive with our Father in His peace in our hearts. And Jesus says, "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (in John 14:27) But seeking things upon this earth can mean seeking control over this earth's worldly people and money . . . to our distraction.

He says, in so many words, "It's time to repent, to get back to God, to purify ourselves, to challenge the corruption around us. We need to fight evil; we were meant for this. I have done wrong, and I cast myself on the mercy of God." Well, our Apostle Paul talks about how to fight the corruption in this world. Ephesians chapter six. Paul says, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds," (2 Corinthians 10:4) And Peter says, "nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." (1 Peter 5:3) So, we win against evil, by good example with prayer as our weapon. And our God gets His results better than we can try to get, that we can't even think :) And, most of all, we need to be corrected of the corruption which is in ourselves, instead of just pointing the finger at others.

"Why are the people in power looting the people? Are they getting ready for a big war? Are they moving toward a civil war?"

"Al Qaeda is working for the U.S. to overthrow Pakistan because Pakistan has already given nukes to Iran?"

"I marvel at the evil."
Where does our attention belong? When John, during the vision of Revelation "marveled with great amazement" at the evil Babylon whore, the angel said, "Why did you marvel?" (Revelation 17:6-7) I can see that he is saying do not be impressed by Satan's kingdom: God our Father is so much more and better in His love. If we experience how God's love is, we can see how Satan is nothing, and what his conspiracy people do is nothing in comparison to all we have with God.

He was talking about how conspiracy stuff is "so anti-human > the C.I.A. tried to put out ugly art that is pointless, to screw people up, and degrade art that is virtuous and is meant to lift people up. So, now the general public thinks art that is ugly and discordia is beautiful." Well, if art has you under its power so you can depend on it to lift you up, that is part of the conspiracy of the devil . . . to make us dependent on things of this life, for our happiness and emotional satisfaction. So, by promoting nicer art for this reason, he himself could be part of this world's conspiracy to keep people weak so they can be controlled. Even so, God does give "us richly all things to enjoy." (in 1 Timothy 6:17)

But if we've been hurt in our weakness, we can keep on suffering and crying out about how this world is not nice to us. But Peter says, "And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?" (1 Peter 3:13) And Paul says, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21) So, we need to be clear about what "good" means. I offer that "good" mainly means prayer and getting our Father's personal correction (Hebrews 12:4-17), and trusting Him and how He has our good example get His results so more and better than only controlling this world's evil people.

"Test all things; hold fast what is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

God bless you :) Bill

Is it possible that the immaculate love of Christ greatly shines with your posted contribution as you also offer durable scriptural support as an example to follow our Lord and Savior in that legacy of love? I should say yes quickly. Thank you dearly for your knowledge and example in Christ sir.

I will offer to say that sensationalism is prevalent on talk radio, shall sarcasm and marginalization also be a large part of radio, which will go against the grain. Yet can the church offer influence for demand? For the principles of liberty are critical yet the love of Christ is the foundation.
So, first our job specialty is to have compassion and prayer "for" people who are in power . . . "all who are in authority". And if this is what God is committed to, this is what will work best - - so "that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." May I be allowed to present some minor benign antagonism that may provide comprehensive consideration for additional perspective?

Should our prayer, obedience and respect for authority be unconditional if that authority acts despotically? For is there a conceivable place for self defense to exist? Or shall our lives become totally benign even when the devil rages unto despotism, who will destroy the innocent on earth using despotic men to commit every kind of crime against humanity?

I wish to give two analogies, one which reflects despotic violence and a second which reflects despotic plunder.

First Analogy - If a mad-man with wild eyes, holding a large knife, then breaks into a person’s home and says aloud, “I am here to impart great violence on every person in this house”. Is it a father’s duty or a mother’s duty to say, “We are a pacifist to the bitter end to honor the loving legacy of Christ, and must allow this mad-man to do his bidding at will even though our innocent children sleep in our rooms.

Should the mother and father allow the mad-mad to destroy the innocent? Thus, is despotism to be tolerated by the Christian when he comes to destroy the innocent? Is there scripture that will demonstrate Christ’s physical behavior when the scribes and the law came to harm the innocent? What did he do?

Is it possible that violence against Christ himself was accepted quickly where a mission to reconcile all of mankind unto God was a perfect example of how we should also be a self-sacrifice unto pure Christian voluntary altruism? Can we agree that self-sacrafice of this kind is our ultimate goal “personally”, yet when we see the actions of Christ to protect others, who were innocent, we then see he was willing to risk his life again to stop despotic behavior.
Can the prostitute serve as an example where Christ challenged ambiguous compulsory law and the church to save a sinner who was innocent of aggressive crime. For how did Christ treat the despotic church that would bring violence to the innocent? Did he encourage their despotic actions or did he rebuke them with wise strategy?

Second Analogy – Hypothetically in a local town an evil mayor figured out a way to control every business venture, every business operation and every job to the point where he was personally successful in taking the lion-share of every persons voluntary exchange and wage using the towns local laws. His take was so egregious to the point where families were losing all that they owned. They lost their own transportation, homes and means to feed themselves until poverty started to manifest in many ways.
Should the towns people say, “Bless you good mayor for you take us for all we have and though it plunders us so, it is our Christian burden to bear it?”

Can Christ’s example in the temple show us his stance against thieves when the despotic church would plunder society in His father’s own house, and Christ would throw them out turning their tables and even fashioning a whip? Shall we see that His father’s house was used for lawful plunder? Can we see that the innocent were being harmed by ambiguous compulsory force and Christ intervened with that force, to consecrate the Lords house for prayer?

Ultimately I agree with most of your perspective, especially regarding the love of Christ, but in your mind do you believe pure pacifism becomes our duty as Christians?

Also shall I stand with you unmoved that we should never seek to control society.
