I use to get wrapped up in those real early "True" text..... then you find out the experts don't even agree and find people accusing others of adding things and removing things from the Word that is printed today. Then someone finds another text that is suppose to be way older but the people that wrote it believed other stuff they should not have and it might have been twisted a bit.

I gave up.

I believe God was more than able to preserve His Word and present to us what we need today. If God did not protect his word and we don't have it all right then God would be unjust to judge if we had corrupted versions of His word. Since God is not unjust, then I believe He kept it so we can read it.

We don't really know what is early scripture.......... And if early is it right.

Be nice if Paul would just E-mail us his originals from Heaven.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark 16:9-20

Mark 16:9-20 did not exist in early scripts..

. So it means that these verses were added by historian ?

That verse has been disputed, however it is in some text and nothing in the verse interferes or changes other scriptures. Some bibles leave it in some have footnotes about it.

while laying hands on the sick so they recover and the Lord Working with them comfirming the Word with signs following is not a problem since we see that in other places. The Problem text that irks some is this......

Mar 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
Mar 16:10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

This makes it a Saturday and not a Sunday which as you know hits egregious folks who keep a Sabbath like the 7th day Adventist.
It very well may be Mark 16 is correct but this part changed to suit Saturday or it could be Saturday but many don't think the verse is right for this reason.

If you want to study an interesting scripture added then do this one.

1Jn 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Many believe this is a forgery and the person that finally included it as the received text also thought it was a forgery but did so to keep the peace because of the Trinity debate.

this scripture was not around when Jerome wrote the Latin vulgate and Just sort of popped up when Esermus was making a 3rd edition of the accepted Greek text. This verse was only in one suspect manuscript thought to be a forgery. Ersamus said find me one more text to verify this and wouldn't you know, they came up with one more out of nowhere.

James Strong who wrote the Strongs concordance also believed this a forgery and did not believe in the Trinity doctrine Himself despite his Methodist roots.

some translations do not include the scriptures, or make a footnote as "Added" by translators.
NAS
1Jn 5:7 For there1510 are three5140 that testify3140 :

ISV
1Jn 5:7 For there are three witnesses-

NIV
1Jn 5:7 For there are three that testify:

Youngs Litteral translation (With footnote)
1Jn 5:7 because three are who are testifying

Also suspect is Jesus saying devils go out by prayer and fasting. Some believe that both Mark and Matt account this was added to it since no other scripture reference says devils go out this way.

Jesus and the Women caught in Adultery is thought to be added by some when he said who has not sinned let him cast the first stone. John 8:1

there is a few there to look into.

Blessings.

I have notice two points from your reply :
1. That verse has been disputed,
2. Many believe this is a forgery and the person that finally included it as the received text also thought it was a forgery but did so to keep the peace because of the Trinity debate.

Answer:
1.
MichaelH agreed that Mark 16:9-20 is a disputed verse & a interpolation from historian of the bible ?
2. It means that to control disbute among christans, they can add verses , and they have rigt to interpolate verses
o of the bible to keep peace?

Obviously, all scripture has been compiled, over a period of time. It is the many interpetations of scripture that cause problems. What words meant then, to the hearer/reader may be vastly different than they mean to us today, this includes whole phrases. It depends on how "earlier" is used - at a guess, I would say Old Testament.
Almost forgot Hey Lion :)

Mark 16:9-20 did not exist in any previous scripture. So it means that this interpolation was added by biblical scholars from own. i AM RIGHT ?

Mary Magdalene is known to have been the first to see the risen Christ. That is? not the only scripture that says this.

It's very hard to actually Prove Mark 16:9- is added. The reason is that it pretty Clearly makes the Sabbath on a Saturday and when you have masses of groups of people not liking that idea then all kinds of evidence just shows up to prove the scriptures should not be there. Information get so cluttered at this point since everyone has an agenda protecting their own religious beliefs that it's hard to tell and be 100% correct.

Best just to read verses and pay attention to what is inside you. Do the verses Seem right? Do the contradict other verses the Holy Spirit Shows you?

If it not for putting the Sabbath on a possible Saturday and offending religious man the verse would not even be on the radar since the rest of the verse talks about healing, casting out devils and the Lord performing the Word with signs which is talked about everywhere else.

So I ask why is a verse not liked?

As for the trinity verse I believe it to be a fake just because of the history on how it got there. Some wanted the Trinity Verse just added in to the 3rd addition of the accepted text and some yelled forgery.

I don't think think the verse changing anything really. It just supports folks Trinity Creed they came up with. The Trinity Creed keeps the Father, Son and Holy Spirit all separate and all 3 are God, But are as One but not the same person. That lines up with all other scripture so I don't think it that big a deal.

It's Modelist and oneness ideas that have tons of counter scripture and that doctrine did not even surface until 1914.

Blessings.

I would agree with MichaelH, that one should look at the "heart" of the scripture, with the help of the Holy Spirit. I would disagree on the Trinity but I'm not going there.

Luke 23:33-34
New International Version (NIV)

33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”[a] And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

Footnotes:
  1. Luke 23:34 Some early manuscripts do not have this sentence.

The "Father Forgive them" is taken to be Christ asking the Father to forgive those responsible for His crucifixtion. Of the 2 others crucified with Christ, one believed (the one on the right? :))
believed in Christ, and upon his death, was saved.

This is a personal apologetic only….

If we think physical, carnal, flesh, and worldly way: the concept of trinity is impossible to happen….

Why?

Imagine a good King…

Say, the King sees a need to save his people from not knowing how to be a good citizen….

In my own human logic: the best possible way, in fact, I think, the only way: is for him to a good citizen himself…

BUT… this will be an IMPOSSIBLE task!

Because, if he went out of the castle, out of the throne, and become a good citizen,

There is no king to serve then!

How he can show it then to his fellow citizen… there is no King when he went out!

Yes, pretty IMPOSSIBLE for a physical, carnal flesh mind to grasp.
