Earth Quakes 2014

I wonder if you do this a lot with scripture too, misinterpret it. With two whole sentences of mine, you came to the conclusion that I was mocking the Holy Spirit and the power of God?

Lets say I was concerned. You know the enemy creates tornado's. Wrong spirit.

when they were leaving from a place that rejected them, the disciples said....... "why not call down fire like Elijah" Jesus said we came to save man, not destroy man, and you know not what spirit ye are. Satan is the one that brings down fire. He is the one the burned up Job's sheep, Sodom, and will do some more in Revelation.

I was in a tornado once, at our old house (we have since moved away). My husband called from work to warn us, so I put the kids in a safe place. I called my dad and let him know the sirens were going off, but that I didn't see anything. My husband called back to say it touched down and was headed straight for us. I actually giggled because I thought he was joking (we're from California, so I wasn't really concerned about tornadoes, just earthquakes)! I switched back over to my dad and went to look out the front window. I told my dad the clouds were swirling and he asked, "What do you mean the clouds are swirling?!" Then the line went dead. I stood watching, and saw some black birds flying really fast in a circle. They got closer really fast and I realized it was debris I was seeing, not birds. That's when I saw the tornado and it was getting closer really fast, headed straight toward our house. I ran as fast as my pregnant self could carry me to where the kids were. By the time I got there, the whole house was shaking and the sound was horrifying. I was afraid and so were the kids. They asked if we were going to die while it shook our home and we could hear cracking and breaking. I thought we might die because it sounded so awful... like the roof was being ripped off, but I didn't want them to be afraid, so I told them no, we are not... let's pray. So I prayed and we all said Amen (in Jesus' name). It rattled and shook our house, but I felt like Jesus was with us, so I held on to some hope. We were spared. Some homes around us were leveled. There was a ton of damage and the city was declared to be in a state of emergency. Police had to barricade our neighborhood, and ID had to be shown when entering. We had a lot of damage, but way less than what I expected with how the tornado sounded. Was I afraid? Yes. Did I pray when I was afraid? Yes. Did I trust God? Yes, I knew His Will would be done regardless of whether we lived or died. I trusted Him, regardless, just like I did when I miscarried our twin babies a few years before that. Sometimes bad things happen, but I trust God anyway.

So you believe tornados are only caused by the Devil? The scripture you state does not support this idea, nor does any scripture in the bible. And we ought not twist scripture like an "idiot" (as you would say), which of course we know that you would never do. True believers have too much wisdom to commit such a sin.

This World was twisted off it's course by Adams Sin, and the god of this World. All these things come out of that curse and storms have ears, so they are backed by a spiritual force.

Things don't happen by chance, nothing is by luck. We look at the power of the devil, look what he has control of.

While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house: And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
(Job 1:18-19)

That was Satan and your missing scripture you claim is not there.

Beloved, let's try to stay on point here.
I asked you if it's possible to create tornados, since you claim you can stop them. You accused me of mocking the Holy Spirit, and God. Which my post was directed at you specifically, and was clearly not directed at the Holy Spirit, and God. So because my post was directed at you and not God or the Holy spirit, though I was not mocking you, but you think I was mocking the Holy Spirit, and God, are you saying you are God?

Your scripture still does not support that tornados are ONLY caused by the devil. Even though I was wondering if you specially can create tornados, let's get into your belief that only the devil can cause a tornado, and how God can't.

"Praise the Lord from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
lightning and hail, snow and clouds,
stormy winds that do his bidding,"

"Then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up."

Or since you mentioned Job, I'll mention Job too:

"Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,"

"By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

lightning of thunder;"

I understand that you think only the devil can cause tornados, and storms, but here is a question. When Noah had to build an ark, who created the floods? My guess is, it wasn't the devil. And do floods not count as a storm?

11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence.12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.14 So make yourself an ark of cypress[c] wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.15 This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.[d]16 Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit[e] high all around.[f] Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.18 But I will establish my covenant with you,and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you.20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.”

Wow where... I did not know you where so good with words and have never seen you post over just a few? :)

Such a great passage, the bible is so beautiful.

24 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Did you notice that the FIRST thing Jesus tells us about the end times is that there will be "religious deception" in verse #4.

A lot of stuff is just over the hilltop, BUT religious deception is the #1 thing to be focused on.

Just consider some of the "religious" comments made here on this web site as an example.

Some tell us that if we are not baptized we are not saved. That is totally un-Biblical but there it is.

Some have said that speaking in tongues is required for our salvation. That is totally un-Biblical but it is out there.

Some have said that all we have to do is ask God and He will cure us of cancer and even raise the dead. Again, un-Biblical.

We are seeing the religious deception that Jesus warned us about taking place right in front of our eyes. It is all being done to get our eyes off of the Lord Jesus and onto the wants and desires of our heart.

These are the same amount of Earthquakes that normally happen.

Since 1900 we expect about 8 major Earthquakes a years and one Major one 8.0 or above. Nothing has changed........ Well, but what Jesus said is happening. I wish I saved that news article about the number are not increasing but where they are hitting has changed and Scientist were trying to figure that out.

Jesus already told them though.....
Jesus did not say they would increase in Number, he said something else.

Be blessed.

The U.S. Geological Survey’s (USGS) seems to dispute your claims.

Analysis of seismic charts show that the number of major earthquakes has been growing gradually over the past 10 years and that the numerous major earthquakes that we are expected to have in 2012 could surpass all previous years. According to the USGS’s research, the number of magnitude 5.0 to 9.9 earthquakes reached 2,117 in 2010. In 2000, by contrast, the number of such quakes recorded by USGS was 1,505.

Double like on this one. I normally double check one someone tells me something. I guess I got lazy and didn't do my own research this time. Thanks!

Joel...........Why do you dislike, reject the post? It is not a comment from me. As you can see it is from the U.S. Geological web site.
How can you dislike something I did not even produce but copy and pasted it????

Joel............
Matthew 24 (NLT)
4 Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, 5 for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.

Do you also reject what Jesus said. Is He not describing religious deception?

Have you read in the Revelation where the false prophet uses religion to cause everyone to worship the Anti-Christ through "lying wonders and signs".

Why not read that and get back to me.

The longest post I have seen from you! Love it :)

Have you guys noticed all the major earthquakes that have happened in the last week? Do you think The Lord is trying to tell us something?
Didn't Lord already tell us about this? :) You quoted the right scripture.. I think we are starting to see everything.. Rumors of war.. Love becoming cold.. Increased wickedness.. Increase in persecution.. We see lawsuits slowly coming up against Christians.. Feels like we are getting very closer to birth pains..

Now, just which part of what I said do you disagree with my brother so that we can discuss it.

Beloved, we have discussed a few things: I feel that some things have been like a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" doctrine.

Some tell us that if we are not baptized we are not saved. That is totally un-Biblical but there it is.
Does the pattern of the salvation to the Jew, Samaritans, and Gentiles not teach "baptism"? Would you have us believe in another pattern of salvation?
Some have said that speaking in tongues is required for our salvation. That is totally un-Biblical but it is out there.
Maybe it was not explained well. We need the Holy Spirit INSIDE our lives, not just around us. How can a person tell the difference: just by "faith"? Is it not by faith that we receive the Holy Spirit?
Some have said that all we have to do is ask God and He will cure us of cancer and even raise the dead. Again, un-Biblical.
Beloved, it is if we pray according to His will. It's no "magic wand": but His power, and His will.
We are seeing the religious deception that Jesus warned us about taking place right in front of our eyes. It is all being done to get our eyes off of the Lord Jesus and onto the wants and desires of our heart.
You really believe that miracles and healings will get our eyes off the Lord? You REALLY believe that healings and miracles are deceptions of the devil...even those done "...in His NAME..."?

You have confused me my friend.

At what point in time were you told to NOT voice your opinion or concerns over a subject????

It seems to me that the conversation here runs the complete gauntlet.

You said...........
"Some tell us that if we are not baptized we are not saved. That is totally un-Biblical but there it is."

You are totally correct my brother!

Someone's opinion on a subject does not make it Biblically correct. It is only THEIR opinion.

Then you said.......
"Some have said that speaking in tongues is required for our salvation. That is totally un-Biblical but it is out there."

You are totally correct again my brother!!!

Those who belong to a certain denomination want everyone to believe that speaking in tongues is required to be saved.
Again, that is only THEIR opinion and is not Biblical in any way.

Then we have this............
"Some have said that all we have to do is ask God and He will cure us of cancer and even raise the dead. Again, un-Biblical".

Again....100% correct! You are doing great brother.

Now we have...........
"We are seeing the religious deception that Jesus warned us about taking place right in front of our eyes. It is all being done to get our eyes off of the Lord Jesus and onto the wants and desires of our heart."

Correct again!!

Then you commented.......
"You really believe that miracles and healings will get our eyes off the Lord? "

I am pretty sure that came from someone else here. The answer of course YES!!! When we start looking for and expecting a miracle, that means we do not have FAITH and are looking for a sign to prove God.
