Luke 10:29; Who is my neighbor?
Luke 10:30-37; Jesus explains: not to be like the priest that saw one up ahead beaten and half dead, passing by on the other side of the street. Not to be like the Levites, (those that followed the priest, congregation), that actually looked upon the man that lay half dead and passed by on the other side of the street. But, be like the Samaritan (the ones in the world that the preacher talks against, calling them sinners), who saw him in need, bound his wounds, gave him medicine, put him on his own beast, and took him, and paid for shelter, tending to him that night. Upon departure, the next morn, the Samaritan gave more money to the attendant, asking that he give aid to his friend, and if he need more money when he came back through, he would pay him. Amen
Who is your neighbor?
And, which one of these servants are you?
A complete stranger in need is your neighbor; if one is truly carrying the fruits of righteousness. Amen
We can preach about good works, and love, and sin, all day long. But, until one pours salt on the feast; what have ye gained? Yes, those who are not walking in it, will be offended by the truth of the Word; but, repentance happens, healing begins and growth is increased. Amen
