Why Did God Lie?

"This can be looked at from another perspective. If you are good and truthfully judge yourself 1 Cor 11:31, why in the universe will you not accept the teachings of Jesus (the God of good) and accept Him into your life? It doesn't add up."

Because the nonbeliever doesn't have actual evidence of a god so he/she will always continue to search, but the nonbeliever will show love to others though.

What evidence do we believers have that they don't have? It's glarringly obvious God exists.

You are an atypical Christian.

or were brought up in another culture where the teaching of Jesus couldn't get into the area. like a person being raised in India and there is no christian teaching availible in that area at the time, but that person will show love. Can we will call that person a "sinner"?

Haha yes! Don't you understand? Noone gets to heaven without Jesus! I've seen plenty of people from other cultures find Jesus. You know that Christianity is worldwide, correct?

Missionaries.

And the message that Christianity preaches (the main one: love one another) is an appealing one.

Christianity is worldwide but there are places where Christianity doesnt exist in certain area, and that person is raised in that culture.

Do babies go to heaven when they die? Babies will never accept Jesus because they don't know how to comprehend stuff. My condolences to those babies.

How can you tell who is a true Christian?

A changed life for one thing. The saved man/woman does not want to do what they used to do. They are new creatures in Christ Jesus and are now motivated by the Holy Spirit unto good works.

Also By what they do.........not what they say they do.

I don't understand what's the problem here. Let's say that you are in my house and I tell you "You can eat everything you find in the fridge". Then, 15 minutes later I come again and I say "But please don't eat the cake because I need it for a party". Did I lie to you? I believe I didn't. Secondly, Genesis is telling us that the true meaning of "death" is not that of physical death. Death is actually a disruption in our relationship with God. In other words, death is losing our communion with God. This is the most profound and true meaning of the word "death". Hence, when Adam and Eve sinned they immediately died. Jesus also made this clear when he said that the people who didn't believe in his message were "dead".

Correct. They died spiritually the moment they ate of the fruit but died not die physically for another 960 years or so.

Children and babies are not morally accountable, and thus, sinless. But when people start making bad choices, when they know its bad, then judgement must take place.

YES!

They are under the blood of Christ Jesus because they have not reached the age of accountability which also applies to mentally challenged people etc.

so you think ALL nonbelievers are out there trying to burn down every church possible and trying to lynch churchgoers? I have to disagree with this. You are probably thinking about other nonbelievers who do that. I am sure there are some nonbelievers that will always try to create peace and promote love.

Now really.......is that what I said?????

You must not have read what I said. The focus and context of what I SAID and who Jesus was referring to was about those who said they were believers but who were in fact "make believers". They were alive and well 2000 years ago just as they are today.

No one said anything about lynching or burning anything so there is in fact nothing for you to disagree with.

I agree, there are many nonbelievers who try to do good deeds and live in peace. BUT that is not the requirements of a ticket to heaven.

Those who go to heaven are FORGIVEN of their sins and the people who have rejected Christ still must pay for their own sins.

I wouldn't have gone say so far that we are sinners, but we are just more neutral, if anything. I do agree that we shouldn't have too much pride (cocky), nor talk bad about ourselves. Which is what "We are sinners" is just saying over and over and over and over. You are only a bad person if you try to destroy other people's happiness. If you don't try to destroy other people's happiness, you are just neutral (not good or not bad). If you try to bring happiness to other people's lives, you will be considered good. I don't see how just believing in god comes into the equation of being good or not good.

You do not have to go that far But I will go that far my friend!!! I will go even further. YOU ARE A SINNER.......................
But the truth is, I am much more of a sinner than you are!

There is NO SUCH THING AS NEUTRAL!!!

Revelation 3:15-16
"I know your works, that you are neither hot nor cold, I would that you were hot or cold, so then because you are LUKE WARM (neutral), and neither hot nor cold, I will spue you out of my mouth"!

Your comment is................
"You are only a bad person if you try to destroy other people's happiness".-----
I don't see how just believing in god comes into the equation of being good or not good

That simply has nothing to do with our conversation. We are SINNERS because we disobey GOD. It has nothing to do with hurting another mans feelings. It is all about our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ or the lack there of.
We are all born with the nature to sin my friend.

Listen, why do all dogs bark?????
Why do all cats meow????
Why do all rattle snakes bite????
Why do all cows eat grass???

NATURE!. We are by NATURE sinners and all have sinned and come short of the approval of God (Rom. 3:23)

Roma. 3:12........
"All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”

When man turns aside aside from Truth, he then becomes unprofitable to God and he is not available to God to use for any good work. All we do in our flesh is spoiled in God's holy eyes and unable to bring us any closer to the former oneness between the creation and their Creator.

Sin renders men unprofitable (unable to store up for themselves treasure in heaven, unable even to redeem the time).
Sin has made men worthless to worship His Holiness.

There is none that do good, no not one!!!!

It is not about being good, it is about being FORGIVEN!!!!

So as long as nonbelievers try to help others (showing love to others), they are automatically a disciple to Jesus? even though they don't believe that Jesus died for them and have their own view of the world?

Since we're on the subject, people who think others are bad, shouldn't be thinking they are bad. It shows their distrust in God doing his job. Christians should never condemn nonbelievers, and nonbeliever should never condemn Christians.

You have some very interesting yet very wrong opinions.

The answer to your question of........
"So as long as nonbelievers try to help others (showing love to others), they are automatically a disciple to Jesus?"

NO!!!!!!

A disciple of Jesus was one who believed that He was the Messiah, the Christ of God and Saviour of man. A disciple then by FAITH believed this thing he was saved or born again. His faith in Christ made him a disciple NOT what he did for others.

You said........
"Since we're on the subject, people who think others are bad, shouldn't be thinking they are bad. It shows their distrust in God doing his job. Christians should never condemn nonbelievers, and nonbeliever should never condemn Christians".

I agree but that is not reality!
