You see the problem is with the "I". that person is supposed to be dead, not alive.
Yes the problem is with "I" That's you guys boast in "I" would never lie to do Gods Will... Love is about putting others before yourself and your own religious desires to have your own righteousness.

Php 3:9 ¶ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

  1. the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense.
Not trusting in Christ that dwells in them, and taking back that control to do their own thing.
Yep that sound like what I am hearing from you guys...:eek:

acting under a feigned part, i.e. (figuratively) deceit ("hypocrisy"):--condemnation, dissimulation, hypocrisy.

By the way you already admitted that you lie...

You have it backwards you are the one taking back control of your life without letting Christ take the helm.
Please.. its those who live in their own delusional abilities, that reject the ability of Christ... And love is always the will of God. Mans legalism is a rebellion against the true grace of God.

That is not the issue, here. In the scenario offered, it is the lives of my children who hang in the balance. Whatever I speak will be what God puts there. I trust Him over me any day.

Letting your self take control is leaving the faith and heading right back into the law. Those who say such things are relying on their own righteousness, which is from the law.

Right that's those who boast in the law! Not those who walk in love. Read the bible...

Those in Christ have already left their abilities behind in the grave, and now Christ is their life.

Right, so those who are under law are not in faith, because "the law is not of faith"

Now your getting it, right, those who under the law are not in faith!!! You seem to be missing the the problem. When Christ is in control, you "I" are not suppose to be. Anytime you say "I" that is not Christ
