Yes the problem is with "I" That's you guys boast in "I" would never lie to do Gods Will... Love is about putting others before yourself and your own religious desires to have your own righteousness.

Php 3:9 ¶ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Please.. its those who live in their own delusional abilities, that reject the ability of Christ... And love is always the will of God. Mans legalism is a rebellion against the true grace of God.

That is not the issue, here. In the scenario offered, it is the lives of my children who hang in the balance. Whatever I speak will be what God puts there. I trust Him over me any day.

Letting your self take control is leaving the faith and heading right back into the law. Those who say such things are relying on their own righteousness, which is from the law.

Those in Christ have already left their abilities behind in the grave, and now Christ is their life.
