Is Jesus In Heaven?

Or is He actually fused with God?

Jesus was God himself, but in human flesh, but when He went back to Heaven, did Jesus fuse with God, or are there now both Jesus and God at the Heaven? They are the same being, but is Jesus just God and God just Jesus, or are They still separate in Heaven?

I am a bit confused, because how can there be 2 parts of God separate at the same time, that sounds like Jesus is actually a second God making the Christianity as quite polytheistic because of Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

God has a lot of things we "Earthlings" don't understand with our brains.

Jesus is God. God is God. Think of this way: you have a body, a soul and a spirit, but you are one person. This is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. To help understand this, God's Name resided in the Temple. The Word of God became flesh. Think of it this way: God is so powerful that the spoken Word is manifested in the flesh and He is called Jesus. Everything from God is God. I hope this helps.

Hi Polly, a lot of Christians struggle with the concept of the three in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit but like Abdicate said above, we are spirit, soul and body operating as one so it's the best way to explain. Polly, do you have a church nearby?

Yes, and now I found another non-denominational church...

So there is no separate Jesus in Heaven? He is technically fused with God, right? Jesus is the body, God is the soul, and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit, right?

You've got it Polly, they are one in spirit, the unseen. God the Father is on the Throne in Heaven with Jesus at his right hand and the Holy Spirit dwells within the heart of a believer so, when we are saved we are at one with God in spirit.....The reason we have issues is that we have two distinct natures now, one in the spirit which is perfect and one in the flesh which is imperfect. The two are opposites of eachother like light and dark, this is why Christians can experience struggle and confusion from time to time but as they grow, their fleshly nature becomes less and the character of God becomes more. All accomplished through Jesus Christ - Peace, joy, sound mind can all be yours!

Wait, you mean that there is God and Jesus separate there, or that they are together 2 in 1 as in like fused?

What you're looking at Polly is just the physical and don't worry, many Christians struggle with this concept too but you've got to look at both the physical and the spiritual. For example, you and I are connected by satelite at the moment are we not from two different places? Able to communicate and speak via signals. Well imagine that, times it by a trillion multiplied by infinity, then you'll know the connection a Christian has to their God. the spirit can't be seen, touched or bottled but it can be felt and experienced. Jesus is in heaven just now but it makes no difference to me, I'm connected to Christ and never feel alone, we are at one (some of the time)...

I think folks are kind of missing what you are asking.
Yes, Jesus is in Heaven, and He is also wandering around Earth. He is not a "localized phenomenon" the way we are.
God's true nature has very little to do with the way He represents Himself to us.
You could stand in Heaven chatting with Jesus, with God on a throne, and the Holy Spirit flying by, and for all appearances would seem to be 3 seperate persons, but that has nothing to do with God's united nature.

He appears to us in a mode we can understand, to do otherwise would be pointless.
I would doubt that there are any who can comprehend His true nature.

I see...

Then there's no way to forget the thing that I had a crush on Jesus and I'll always feel bad for having a crush on Him even if I don't have a crush on Him anymore, and all my intrusive thoughts will be on my mind. But in Heaven, is Jesus like a soul, or just a spirit that has no spiritual body like our souls will have.

And I got bashed for having a crush on Him. Why? I feel so condemned now... In fact, Jesus is my type, but it's a mistake to have a crush on Him... :/ But please don't bash me anymore for that... I am stupid, I know... And I am wicked too as some Christians say, but I am born again.

Ok.

So God is actually not the giant white bearded man with white long hair and white robes, He is just a cosmical superbeing with no body, right?

Polly, you shouldn't feel guilty because of the fact that you found the popular portrayal of Jesus attractive. Those pictures of Jesus are just an artistic depiction of how Jesus looked like. Jesus was probably quite different. The paintings always try to show a very handsome Jesus and a very beautiful virgin Mary, but all of this is based only on fantasies. Isaiah 53 tells us that Jesus was not an attractive man (Isaiah 53:2). So, in conclusion, you had a crush on the models that are commonly used for the artistic portrayals of Jesus, not on the real Jesus.

Similarly, God the Father is not actually an old man with a white beard. He is Spirit. Maybe he has no form at all. We will only know for sure after our resurrections (1 John 3:2)

Well, but then again, they say that Nazarites had long hair, and they are Israeli, and the average Israeli hair color is black, and I am really thinking that Jesus looked like Snape. :3

Both Jesus and God the Father will appear just as solid as you do.
God the Father may appear to you as a giant bearded man in white, it's impossible to say at this point.
How a spirit appears to you depends on your level of understanding, so they tend to appear differently depending on the viewer.

LOL. Maybe. But in that case, don't you actually have a crush on Snape?

Mark 16:19 (NLT)
When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.

Hebrews 1:3
(NLT)
The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.

Hebrews 10:12
(NLT)
But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.

Hebrews 12:2 (NLT)
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Revelation 3:21 (NLT)
Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.

Not anymore. But Snape is pretty much my type still.
