What do you all think about it?

For those who don't know about it, it is a movement among Christian denominations to form a unified Church again. It has mainly manifested itself in the World Council of Churches, but has been relatively unsuccessful in bringing denominations into communion with each other for fear of diluting the faith. However, recently, the Patriarch of Constantinople (sometimes called the Pope of the East) attended the consecration of the western Pope Francis. For those in the protestant tradition this is meaningless, but it was a fairly important move for anyone in the more traditional denominations as the two churches have been separated for the last 1,000 years.

All the schisms have only worked in the favour of The Enemy.

Pitting each other against ourselves is only a method for ruin.

One body, One Spirit, One Lord, 41,000 denominations... which one doesn't fit? I fit only with those that believe the word of God as authority, not tradition or preachers or priests or {fill in the blank}.

Psalms 133:1 (KJV)
A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!

So with 41,000 denominations, I venture to say that 90% are not real followers of Christ nor saved. Plain. Simple. Truth.

Thank you---I agree with that!

Whom are the 10% denomination-wise?

Hello, I'm not sure it will make a major difference in many ways, the Body of Christ is made up of millions of Christians all over the globe attending various assemblies and denominations across the world. I get the feeling though the less Christianity is favoured by the world the more unified we'll become. I think when you look across the world through the lines of main stream media you see true believers growing in the world not receding, for example in Brazil almost two million former catholics have turned to Jesus Christ, the underground church in China is growing by the day and there's even reports of the church growing in North Korea, it's growing and the body of Christ will never be defined as an organisation but rather made up of believers all over the world......hope this helps...
