Shrinking Church Attendance And What To Do About It?

The legal system was not drawn from The two commands. They were drawn from a whole lot of code that has been with men and for men.

And what people?

The people that savaged the aboriginal populations?
The people that enslaved Africans?
The people that kept women as second class citizens?
The people that kept the non-land holding citizen from equal treatment?

How are ANY of these things even close to keeping the second command?

If you cannot follow the second, you cannot follow the first. If you do not follow the Commands of The King
you are NOT WITH The king.

The fruits are NOT there. US not Christian. Just another worldly nation.
I don't know any "Christians" who practice those things.. and pointing to the evil that satan works in a nation does not defeat the good that God has wrought in His People.

The government of the United States of America did all these things, made them legal for a long, long time.

The people of the United States of America voted for these policies and kept them individually for a long, long time.

Now if the government did these things and the people that made the government did these things and the people that elected the government did these things and those same people upheld these things in their own daily lives for a long, long time and these things directly violate the second great command by The King; HOW are they with The King?

How can you bear the fruit of a rebel against The Kings' commands and still call yourself loyal to The King?

You can't.
The actions speak louder than the words.
The US was never, ever Christian.
No way, shape or form.

There are Christians IN the US, but that is NOT the US. Only inside it.

But that is standard as NO nation is Christian in this world.

Jingoism and The Word are incompatible.

Churches are shrinking because Christianity is being marginalized in our society.

A church can grow by focusing on entertaining Christians at the expense of reverence to God But, I regard mega-churches as judas goats (an animal used to lead other animals to slaughter). The vast majority of their members come from other churches, not from the unchurched or unsaved. And, these churches teach them to be secular in their attitudes and to focus on themselves, rather than God. The result is that many of them, and certainly their children, eventually leave church, and so Christianity becomes further marginalized in society.

Many "successful" churches are ran by preachers who know marketing better than the Bible.

This is why sooner or later we will be seeing "shopping" carts at the entrances of many Churches.
