Who are you in Christ?

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

We are reconciled to God through His Dear Son Jesus. Because we are made new, that is, born again, we are now His ambassadors

2 Corinthians 3:2-3

2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;
3 being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

On our hearts is written the Epistle of Christ to the world. He is telling the world about Himself, His love and reconciling sacrifice so that none should perish but should have ever lasting life through the REBIRTH. We, in essence, are the Ten Commandments. These Ten Commandments have been the hub of human interaction a, politically and socially, since they were delivered to Moses on MT. Sinai.
The essence of these Ten Commandments has been put in the conscience of man kind so that even the Native Americans knew the difference between lying and honesty. These Ten Commandments are the crux of how humans should live. We believers now have those powerful instructions from God to man inscribed on our fleshy hearts.

WOW!

Ephesians 2:21-22

21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord,
22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

Yes sir........I agree totally!

When a man comes into the vital union with the risen and glorified Lord he is then a NEW CREATURE!!!! He then perceives Christ in a new and living way.

That is the effects of being "born again". The saved man then sees his sin as God sees it and that makes the difference.

Good stuff!

“What is a Christian”?
Grace, faith, indwelling, family, child, heirs, priest, and king, all are words describing a Christian. The only way to be saved is by God’s Grace, it is a gift, free, and available to all. John 3:16 “Whosoever will may come.” Faith is our part. Grace is offered but must become part of us, accepted by us, a personal acceptance of God’s grace by faith.

Everyting changes at this point! Our life and world are different. Cleansed by the blood of the cross, we are a new creature, and indwelled by the Holy Spirit, we become the temple of God. This pure, cleansed, New Creature is adopted into the family of God and the Holy Spirit assures that we are the sons and daughters of God, That is why we call each other “brother and sister” in Christ we are. As children of God we are naturally heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. Romans 8:9-17

OK! This one you may not know so well. Christians are Priest of God in this age of grace. In 1st Peter 2:5 Holy Priesthood, 2:9 Royal priesthood. Rev 1:6 Kings and Priest.

There were three (3) priesthoods !
First the priest hood was by birth in a family of Gods chosen people, The First born set aside to serve God and lead the people, A birthright priesthood.
1- Sanctify unto me all the firstborn. Exo 13:2
Second is a tribe of Israel chosen by God to replace the birthright, an inheritance priesthood.
2- Thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel Num 3:41 Num 3:12
3- Third is the High Priesthood of Jesus, and our adoption into the family of God by our new birth, The Priest of Grace.
1Peter 2:4-5 (NKJV) Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,
you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
Revelation 1:5-6 (NKJV) and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 5:10 (NKJV) And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
Revelation 20:5-6 (NKJV) The Christians as heirs with Christ are a royal priesthood. Jesus is the King there is only one king, But we are a Royal Priesthood with the Power of the King.

There is VICTORY IN JESUS! Why do we not hear more teaching of this victory?
I hear preachers talking about “Repentant Sinners” almost to the point you would think we have to be saved or at least repent of our many sins every week, day, hour.

But, the work of Jesus on the cross made a difference, we are not, cannot be in the flesh bound to sin. Jesus changed all that!
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.
Rom 8:2 But the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Everything Adam did to damage fellowship between man and God: God gave a way to repair. God shed BLOOD in the garden to cover sin and shame. Adam left the garden under the blood in right standing with God. A merciful God made clothes to cover shame and that sacrifice was known to all the OT leaders before Moses and the law. The teaching of the messiah was of JESUS who restored all that was lost and more too. Jesus is now at the right hand of God as our intercessor, so if we fail He is there to protect us. We are in Christ, we cannot be living in sin!
A Christian is not a Repentant Sinner. A Christian is in Christ! In Christ we are “Indwelled By the Holy Spirit”, Adopted into the family of God, Adopted as Sons and Daughters, Children of God, Heirs of God, Joint heirs with Christ. We are the temple of God indwelled by the Holy Spirit we are Priest of the Most High God with Jesus as Our High Priest. We are a Royal Priest hood and will rule with Christ in Eternity.
Now I Call that VICTORY!!

Few people realize what being born again actually means. Let me show you something astounding. You already know the verse above. Do you know this one by reflection on 1 Peter 3.

Romans 5 - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

When were we sinners?

1 Peter 3 - Don't miss where 1 Peter starts: WIVES, submit to husbands. We are the bride of Christ below, right? Eve was divided from Adam's image. We are the bride below. We are sinners (weak nature) being refined by the flood as beasts in the ark.

19 After being made alive,[d] he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— 20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.

No mystery here if you get it. While we were were sinners, Christ made proclamation (after HIS resurrection). We were the Spirits in the grave. He then goes on to show you the mystery of baptism. It's symbolism for the ark and flood of Noah. The Nations are brought back in resurrection (Baptism) into the waters of life. Why? To rise to new life, crossing over the waters so to speak. The ordinance of baptism has a root meaning. This is it. You must be born again. The dead come to life from the grave.

Who am I in Christ? Listening to his proclamation, overcoming the beast of the animal nature. We, who are many, are ONE loaf (1 Corinthians 10). We are the risen body of Christ. He is the Head (Groom) above. We are the wives (bride) submitting to the head of our authority. The proclamation from the herald was what message?

Isaiah 52:7 [Full Chapter]
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Habakkuk 2:2
[ The Lord’s Answer ] Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.

1 Timothy 2:7
And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.

2 Timothy 1:11
And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.

Ultimately, we are all Children of God (Bride), waiting on our Angle above.

Matthew 18

10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

The child us us. The Angel facing the Father is our higher nature above (groom). We are in the image / copy of Heaven for refinement. Above, we are in perfection, waiting for the image of Adam / Eve to be joined back again. To get there, we overcome Yahweh / Satan. They are the Law / Accuser. No need for the law if we Love others. We have overcome.

Zachariah 3 shows Yahweh silencing Satan's accusations against Joshua / Yeshua. He then puts on the new robe (body) and turban (mind). 430 years later, the high priest hangs on the cross. Yahweh is not mentioned again. Satan was silenced by Yeshua at his temptation.

He overcame on our behalf. By this example, we must follow the same path to take the name (Character) of Christ.

We are a child of God below until we are no longer a child (1 Cor. 13).

I do not understand, I build on and add to a Beautiful idea. I thought I was praising God for VICTORY.

I'm a daughter..a princess...a priest, a co-heir..sister to Jesus...saint..born again, indwelled..spirit-filled. Jesus knows me by name and my name is written in the Book of Life. Praise God! He adopted me. I'm his sheep, although sometimes I act like a lamb. lol.

A precious stone, a living stone, light, a son, a priest, a child of God, a King, a new creation, co heir, the righteousness of God, light of the world, salt of the earth, a city, a temple, God's garden, God's building, God's handy work, God's minister, a ambassador, Christ. And if you be Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed and hears according to the promise.

When God Almighty has birthed a new creature after the order of the last Adam within this fading tent, like Christ you now have two natures (one eternal and one temporal) in one person. We are now the sons of God and not mere sons of Adam! Walk in this truth...

I am a New Creature with a New Nature. Old things are passed away including that old man. I am a servant of righteousness that has been freed from sin and its power. I reside inside the Kingdom of God NOW and am seated in heavenly places. I have been called to suffer and admonished to be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable onto God which is merely our reasonable service. I am a son of God.

I am a fellow heir with Jesus, and a partaker of His promise. "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these i might be a partaker of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust". 2 Peter 1:4

Colossians 1: 12-14 "Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His Blood, even the forgiveness of sins"
