Repentance

I want to play sports and take walks in the spring and summer, but my mom is so overprotective. She does not want to me do wrestling because she thinks that I am too violent. I would consider track, but my stamina is too low.
So ask the Lord to give you whatever it is He wants you to do. Once you have that revelation, you'll have the authority and power to accomplish it! (y)

Rom 9:18 NIV Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
It's still a choice:

Psalms 95:8 (KJV)
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, [and] as [in] the day of temptation in the wilderness:

I did, so I am waiting for Him. But I want something to do while waiting. There is this game that I have been playing, which I was iffy about. I went in and out on it, playing and quitting in about two days, etc. Today, while I was playing it, I saw a pentagram inside a circle (satanic symbol) that I have never noticed before. So I quit the game, and I will now forget about it. God didn't want me playing it anyway, and I was really bad at it as well. The game is called Smite.

Brother Juk, I tell every one to pay attention to, and to listen to every word that comes out of our mouth. God, a lot of times speaks to us through our own mouth!!!! How so?

Pro 16:23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

The Lord has spoken to me many times through my own mouth. Having your heart set on the things of God connects you directly to the heart of God. Knowing this is very very powerful to us.

Pro 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

Write these scriptures down, memorize them, confess them out of your mouth. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Faith does not come by what you have heard (past tense) but by what you are hearing now!!!
That explains why I come to many conclusions about God or a topic in the Bible just by thinking about it! I discuss the topic in my head, and when I have a question, I come to an answer, most of the time right after. This must be God talking to me, through me!

Ccw95a... "The Way ", now there is a bible study topic for you. Regeneration to "the way " is found everywhere on the bible.
Sorry for interrupting the topic.
Repent.
Yes, learn from David, he can teach us a thing or three about repentance.

Just a quick stop for me so I didn't read all the posts...
The only real sin is unbelief the rest are simply attributes.
Jesus said 'go and sin no more' referring to live your life with faith in the Word.
If we are in Him and He in us the atonement applies.
If we are in Him we no longer have the desire to sin.
So live your life free of condemnation and don't let the devil bother you bringing up old dirty laundry.
We are involved in the 'greatest battle ever fought' the human mind.
Satan chose the mind God the heart.
God bless.

It's still a choice:

Psalms 95:8 (KJV)

In one scripture God hardens our hearts, in the other we have a choice. I don't understand.

Rom 9:18 NIV Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
In the Old Testament concerning Pharaoh the scripture says," God, hardened Pharaoh's heart", then we find it says, "Pharaoh hardened his own heart"
Which is it, did God or pharaoh harden his heart? They both did. How so? Anytime someone hears the Word of God and refuses to obey it, it hardens their heart.
The Word of God is God, and it is that Word that hardens a person heart, when they chose not to obey.

A humble and contrite heart God will not refuse..
We can choose...and circumstances around us can break our hearts open. Or we can close up, like Pharoah. God hardened his heart for a bigger purpose ...so the israelites would want to leave Egypt, cos they did have it good there in many ways. It does say in exodus that Pharoah hardened bis own heart FIRST so God was just making it all the harder.
Like when our hearts become soft, to recieve Jesus, God continues the process by circumcising our hearts spiritually.

For starters, one is directed at a group of people, nation or generation. The other is spoken about a person, for all you know about a specific person, like Pharaoh. He was chosen, and for a hardened heart.

We can't comprehend this because we cannot know the nuances of the future. So, think of it this way: you know the future, you have a plan, so you work with one guy, he turns you down. You go to someone else. He accepts, and does what you want done. That leads to someone else doing what you want done. You know a bad guy is never going to repent, so you use him to do your will too, and you get all the glory for his errors. That's all it is. God knows the beginning and to the end.

Abdicate, even though God knew Pharaoh would not obey his Words to him, does that mean Pharaoh did not have a choice to obey?

While God did say He would harden Pharaoh's heart in Exodus 4:21, 7:3, Pharaoh had already hardened his own heart in his treatment of the Hebrews. IMO, when God hardens people's hearts, He doesn't do it against their will. It is what they want anyway (Romans 1:24).

What you are doing in this way is part of meditation. Your chewing on the Word, and the things about Jesus. Thus the Holy Spirit within you is giving you understanding. Once you have the understanding or the answer just look up some of the words, to make sure it lines up with the Word of God.
