God is ALWAYS with you

It doesn't matter what you are doing. It doesn't matter if you are at the highest point of your life or your lowest, he's there. It doesn't matter if you are out in a crowd or home alone locked in your room, he's there, right next to you. He is always there waiting for you to talk to him, in prayer, in worship, in anything. Just talk out loud, as though you are writing in a journal, but speak it, he'll hear you, even if you don't think he is listening, he is. Even if you think the whole world is against you, he isn't.
Praise God.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:35-39

and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:20b

I've heard it said that it's good to remember this when you feel tempted to sin. "Would you be doing what you are doing if Jesus was sitting right next to you?" Well, He is!

I usually like to think of Jesus as being inside of me, but that is not effective when it comes to resisting sin. But Jesus is not only inside of us, but all around us as well, since He is omnipresent. But that doesn't help either. The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to think about it as personally as possible. Just some of my thoughts.

If it is an addiction that you are dealing with then even those thoughts don't usually help, because even though they enter your mind, you brush them aside and do it anyway because you just can't seem to stop yourself(I have been there). Only repentance, and the grace of God can deliver you out of the bondage.

True words there, brother!

Something to remember is that one cannot fight thoughts with thoughts. They have to be fought with the Word of God. This is true repentance (changing what your thinking) and then take the thoughts captive and tell them in the Name of Jesus that they are not welcome. Because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Once you say what you have been thinking your mind stops to pay attention to what is coming out of your mouth. Try it sometime. Start thinking something and then say something. The thoughts will stop to see or hear rather what is coming out of your mouth.
