Emotionally Unstable

Hey guys. Being the curious person I am, I wanna ask a question.

Does God forgive me despite having negative and hateful thoughts?

Its starting to kill me on the inside and I feel denied and rejected by God. I feel like He doesn't know I exist. I cannot feel or hear Him. I can't even face Him in pray anymore. I just feel so evil sometimes. What's the best cure for guilt?

Been there, done that... got the t-shirt and the mug.

Don't fret. This is normal. So, what to do about it. Well, once we get saved, everything is new and wonderful. Why? Because we're full of faith. Over time, God wants us to maintain that faith, so He plays hard to get, to see if you're interested in Him. During this time we must believe the word of God, after all, He died for us. He's done a lot for us and wants to know if you'll want a relationship with Him or not. During these times of silence we have a great opportunity to have faith - to be fully persuaded of God's promises. Hang in there. Have faith. Read Romans 7 then meditate on the last verse. :D

What are you feeling guitly over? Just the negative thoughts? Realize that guilt does not come from God, but from the devil, and he is messing with you trying to get you to believe that God is mad at you.

Meditate on - John 1:9 and every time a thought that you are displeasing to God comes in remind yourself that God has already forgiven you and holds nothing against you....He has cleansed you from that unrighteousness. Now you just have to receive God's forgiveness and forgive yourself....making the choice to apply Philippians 4:8

God bless

Thankyou guys for the inspiration. I really appreciate your advice and concern. God Bless your souls. I won't go into full detail but since I'm a very passionate person I tend to defend certain things and go off before thinking about it. Don't get me wrong I don't stick up for horrible things, more like justice for wrong (such as female rights if you wanna get the idea). Lets just say I said something not overly nice to my dad when I found out something. I really regret what I said cause I love my parents so much. I just want God's forgiveness and care more than anything. Does He actually forgive me?

Did you ask God for forgiveness and repent of what you said? If so then the answer is yes He really did forgive you. Its the reason why He died (Jesus). Here is the Scripture to back it up

Psalms 103:12

As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Hebrews 8:12
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Hebrews 10:17
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Isaiah 43:25

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake,
and will not remember thy sins.

No need to apologize. But thankyou for even coming back and replying. God Bless [emoji4]

Even though it does not "feel" like it....God loves you very much and wants you to know that He is concerned with even the littlest details in your life. So He made sure that i saw my error in reading your original question. He knows that any question that you ask is important to you :)

God bless you and give you peace!

Best cure for guilt / negative / hateful thoughts is truthful self judgment leading to a sincere repentance 1 Cor 11:31, Phil 2:12, Psalm 51:17.

Remember that God gave that brain that is making you feel guilty and the Holy Spirit is here to convict us of what pleases and displeases God. The devil wants you to think everything is fine and you are en route to heaven. God wants you to deal with your guilt properly and not take a pain killer.

Examine the thoughts properly, find the roots and deal with it.

Izabella, usually when we feel guilty it is because we really are. We have a "conscience" that lets us know when we sin, and fall short of how we are suppose to think and speak. Without which we would just keep on doing what is wrong. We inherited this from Adam, and Eve when they ate ate from the tree of the "knowledge of good, and evil", so it is not a bad thing. If, and when you do repent, and confess your sins to the Lord he does forgive us and then he will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If you are still feeling guilty after repenting, then that would come from the devil trying to bring condensation on you. You must submit yourself unto the Lord resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Rom 8:1.. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

All of the Apostles lived their lives with a "clear conscience", and some believers today who do not have brought "shipwreck" to their faith.

1Ti 1:19.. Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

How can I tell if God had forgiven me or not?

The devil will try to keep you guessing if you are really forgiven! Lord says otherwise. When you approach Lord with a contrite heart and ask for forgiveness, it is done deal. The best way to overcome such unbelief is to dwell in Word of God. A couple of verses to encourage you. Spend more time in Word of God and praise Him for everything He is doing for you. And worship Him for who He is.

Psalm 103:8-12The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

Matthew 11:28-30“… Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says The Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
