Dont worry; you are Saved.

I'm here today to share my personal experiences with God not only just to simply do so, but in the chances that this post may also help those who may be worrying about their salvation just like I used to, up until I was 21 years old. If you look, you can even see that in 2014 I came here for help on my own salvation, although I'm not sure why I was struggling then, as I had my signs from God a year before I posted here. I guess it was residual worries, I suppose.

I personally apologize to God for thinking I was struggling after them, heh

but I have to begin with this admitting that I'm different, which is actually the full reason why I worried up to the point of sobbing to God in personal prayers for basically my entire life, begging for a sign to show whether I was saved or not. For some reason, He was almost completely quiet up until my first dream at the age of 21, and the signs didn't stop there; I had multiple.

Before I had the dreams though, my very first sign came directly after watching Passion of the Christ for the very first time. ///(((Right)))/// after it ended on Netflix watching it from my phone, I walked into the living room and on a TV show which was on the television, someone asked: hey, what're you watching? Response: oh, Passion of the Christ. It was amazing, to say the least...;a;

Keep in mind these were totally separate things - Netflix and something on tv.

I will never forget my very first dream though - the answer I was waiting for, for my entire life. In this dream, it started out pretty random. A projector was showing slides of random pictures, but the final slide was that of Jesus on the cross with the words "You are saved." beneath it. It startled me so much that it actually literally /woke me up out of deep rem sleep/, and all I could do was stare at the wall as silent tears streamed from my face.

In my second dream not long after that one, maybe a few weeks, I actually met Jesus. and it was the first lucid dream which I could /consciously/ control my actions in literally my entire life - I was touching my surroundings in wonderment before asking Him if it was a real experience, and He silently nodded his head. I can't even count the tears already shed from just simply typing these experiences. A lot of people would say they were just dreams, but as a believer, I personally believe that a dream of God, is simply that. A dream from God.

To top it off, a few months before I even had these dreams in 2013, I asked God for a physical sign, not expecting something drastic, but /////five minutes later///// when I was taking out the trash, I just -happened- to stumble across a really cool small metal Cross on the ground with a real leather front to it. in the same exact path I was taking, directly under my feet. I didn't even have to "walk up to it" as if I saw it from a distance. it was just there when I looked down. it will make the perfect necklace someday, because I still have it. :)

And, seriously, where I am right now to connect to internet in order for me to be able to post this, there was a woman standing directly in front of me with a Jesus shirt on before I started typing this, even further confirming, since this is what I came here to do. God is awesome~

if you're someone out there that is worrying as I used to, please don't - We all have something so amazing to look forward to. God is pure Love -itself-. No matter /what/, you are forever safe in the arms of our amazing loving God. :')

Romans 8:35
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
Rom 8:38 — Rom 8:39
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Phi 2:12 — Phi 2:13
Shine Brightly for Christ
Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

I do not know you personally, so I cannot speak for your salvation, however, the experiences which you described are not biblical for finding your assurance of salvation.
2nd corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

1st john is a beautiful test of salvation, I urge you to read from scripture before you take a dream as solid evidence.

And not everybody is in right relationship with God, in fact many people who think they are in right relationship with God with end up In hell! If somebody is an unregeneret, hellbound man, we only lie to him if we tell him that he is saved.

Hi,

I just have to respond to this because I was where you are about 10 years ago when God began teaching me.

This is a hard topic to talk about because I know many people would think we're crazy, lying, etc, but people like you and I who have experienced this stuff know the truth.

I believe that God is preparing you to receive intensive training and Gifts of the Spirit in order to help you carry out the Mission in your life which he has planned for you even before you were born.

For me personally, I haven't told very many people about my personal experiences because I know many would not believe me or think I'm crazy, however, in truth, I tell you now some of my experience as it pertains to yours.

You have already taken the first step and done something that not many people (even many Christians) can do. You have learned to notice the signs. Although these signs seem rather obvious to you, normal human reaction is to brush these off as coincidences or not notice them at all. God puts signs all over the place in virtually everyone's Life (For instance a certain song playing on the radio, a billboard on the freeway that provides an answer to a question on your mind, that "random" telephone call from someone you haven't talked to in years right after praying for help on a project, etc.). That is the primary way God communicates with people who have not yet developed the skill to literally "hear" him.

What do I mean "hear him"? Well that's how it all started. It started for me with signs like the ones you've experienced. In 2005, He then called me to uproot and move to another state far away from my family. I spent several years in that state and during that time, God slowly began teaching me. It was almost like an intensive course on humanity, spirituality, myself, my mission, etc. It was amazing. I was the student of the Best Teacher in the World. During that time, God provided me with certain Gifts of the Spirit including the gift of knowledge, the gift of discernment, and the gift of interpretation of the Bible.

One of the best gifts I received however was the ability to communicate with him directly. When I prayed it was no longer a one-sided conversation. I now "heard" his responses too. God has a really huge mission for both of us and we must take up the guantlet and do his work.

I will pray for you. I've learned God usually keeps people like us away from eachother and spreads us out throughout the World for obvious reasons, so I do not feel like I will ever get to know you, but it is good to cross paths with another person with the same type of gifts of the Spirit every once in awhile.

God Bless.

P.S. I want to add that for anybody who doubts whether God is truly providing these messages, 1 John 4: 1-3 tells us how to discern the Spirits. I do acknowledge that everyone should discern the Spirits in order to make sure of it's true source.

P.S. Oh and I also wanted to add that being different is part of the Call. It's hard, but a True Christ Follower will have a hard time relating to the rest of the World. Jesus said it best in John 15: 18-19 when he says "“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you."
Good Luck in your Mission and God Bless!

I sense that you are sincere in your heart and I am thrilled to hear you excitement of being a child of God, but I have to agree with my brother Klub on this.

I am not questioning your salvation as that is between you and God and I am not in that conversation at all. At my age I only try to help and encourage and point people in the right way to live their lives so as to live a Godly life.

However my friend, we are not saved by "signs". We are only saved by faith in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He was born of the virgin Mar, lived a life of No sin, died on the cross and was raised from the dead 3 days later.

Now that is what is required by faith to be saved.
We are not saved by "sincerity, or emotions, or actions, miracles, signs or wonders". We are saved by Grace through Faith.

Ephesians 2:8-9.........
" For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

God saves us that way so that we will not brag, or boast or place ourselves above any9ne else. God and only God gets the credit for saving us!!!!!

God does not then have to send anyone a sign of confirmation as a lost mans New Heart is the proof of his salvation. When a man is saved he no longer lives to sin. The drunk no longer drinks, the liar no longer lies, the cheat no longer cheats and the thief no longer steals. and so on and so on.

God in no way has to confirm your salvation in order for you to be saved.

Now may I speak to your comment of.........
"I just have to respond to this because I was where you are about 10 years ago when God began teaching me."

I mean no disrespect to you in any way, I only want to let you know that that kind of comment is never helpful to anyone.
What you said actually is an attitude of what is referred to as "Elitism".

In other words, you are implying that God is doing something special for YOU which places you above everyone else spiritually.
I realize that you probably did not even know that is what happened, but it is none the less the truth.

You see, the Scriptures teach us that God is not a respecter of persons in Acts 10:34........
"Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons."

You see, the Scriptures teach us that God is not a respecter of persons in Acts 10:34........
This is true but for those who Actually are doing what is written in God's word in fact to see more of God in their lives.

Many believers seem to be blessed way beyond many believers. .... does this mean God loves them more? No!
Does this mean He thought more of them then others? Again No!

How ever God Responds to Faith which means not just hearers of the word but doers of His word.
Is God showing more favor to some because they are special? No!!
Because it's those who do the word and not just hear it end up seeing More of God in their lives.

God will also speak differently to different people but it will always line up with His Word.

I my self have Not seen a donkey talk or rebuke a mad prophet but I have seen some folks who acted like a donkey and spoke a confirmation from God unto me when I was just not getting it.

Just saying we need to be careful what we claim God will or will not do in some ones life on the basis of God has not ever done stuff like that in my life.

Blessings

I agree with everything you said Jim. All of that is real Christian teaching. However, when you read through the post by our brother JJOB, you see rather quickly that he is basing everything on the experiences of a "dream" and not the Word of God which you are addressing and which I agree with.

Not one single time does he mention the Word of God and that is what struck me. His testimony was about his dreams not Jesus Christ.

Absolutely correct Jim that God speaks to men at different times in different ways and we are all at different stages of understanding. But that understanding has to be based on the truth we receive from God's Word which I believe is what you said and I agree completely........ and not through dreams.

Hey Major,

Thanks for your words of wisdom. You make some very good points and ironically, I agree with you.

I say "ironically", because I feel you may have misunderstood what I was saying in my original post and although you were trying to present an opposing view of what I was saying, in my opinion, you are actually presenting a view in agreement (just worded differently than what I said or in more elaborate detail).

I absolutely agree that we are saved by Grace through Faith and nothing else. I never suggested in my post that it is through "signs" in which we are saved.

I was trying to imply that God gives "signs" to each one of us, and it's up to each person to hear and interpret those signs through their own Faith in Jesus and their Spirituality.

The fact that he gives it to each of us, shows that there is no "elites" as you stated. Everyone is equal. The fact of the matter is, many people choose to ignore certain signs or pass them up as coincidences, when in fact it is God trying to speak to them. Therefore, although each of us have the same opportunity to "hear" what God is telling us, whether through those "signs" or in other ways, not all of us accept and "hear" it.

So are the people that are able to "hear" it, special? Are they more "elite" than the people that can't? the answer is absolutely not. They simply learned to "hear" it while others may still have to learn to hear it. The sad fact, is some people may never hear it.

It is by our own choice and doing that we will be able to "hear" it. You see, it's a lot like being a Christian itself. All of us have an equal opportunity to accept Jesus, Follow his Word, and be a Christian so we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven someday.

We all have that same opportunity yet many people choose not to accept Jesus and become a Christian. Does that make Christians "Elitists" because we've learned to accept him and others haven't? Did God give us a special opportunity that he didn't give to others? Absolutely Not.

Learning to "hear" God through whatever way he chooses to communicate with us is something that all of us as Christians have an opportunity to do in order to strengthen ourselves so we can carry out better and more fully the Mission which God has for us.

But that understanding has to be based on the truth we receive from God's Word which I believe is what you said and I agree completely........ and not through dreams.

We must also not be so quick to dismiss another's claim about how and if God speaks to them.

JJOB made claims that God was leading him through various "signs" he experienced and how he spoke to God in a dream he had.

Is this true? I don't know for sure. I am not JJOB and if he did experience these things, it is not for me to know. It is between him and God. People that disbelieve JJOBs statements may go even further (as they did on here) and imply that maybe it was an evil spirit trying to communicate with him and trying to deceive him. Is this true? Again, only JJOB knows because it was his experiences.

As I openly stated, Like JJOB, I have experienced "Signs" in my own life. Did it come from God. Was it Real? Well, I can tell you yes beyond a doubt. Why? Because it was my own experience. Does everyone else believe me? No, of course not, because it wasn't them who experienced it.

God communicated with me a certain way, with JJOB a certain way, and he communicates with others a certain way. Also, God can pick whoever he chooses to communicate with in whatever way he chooses to communicate with them. Reading different Bible Passages, we see God choosing people many would call sinners who didn't understand God's Word before they were saved (Think people such as Mary Magdeline or Saul/Paul)

It is not for us to judge whether or not someone's experiences were real and if they were of God. This is the mistake the Pharisees made in Jesus' Time.

I can tell you this. Everything that comes from God seems to have a common theme: God shines his Light Through the People he touches and that Light helps to reach others and destroy sin within others so that they may come closer to God.

JJOB posted what he did about his experiences in order to let people know that we don't have to worry as long as we are following God (Look at his heading). He was saying that God loves us and we are Saved. Everything he said was from a position of how much God Loves us, how he watches over us, and how each one of us is special. If you ask me, a message like that can only come through God.
