Who is Doing the Forgiving

Who in the world are those involved in religion asking for forgiveness? From God! Therefore the assumption is, God’s not reconciled when they sin. In their mind they are separating themselves from God by their sin. Justification...Redemption...Propitiation...Remission...and Forbearance...all terms God wants people to acknowledge, to become familiar with, and to come to fully appreciate. Never make the mistake of thinking that these terms all mean the same thing. They do not. Each one has a distinct meaning all its own. Oftentimes, people will look at these terms and sort of lump them all together under a heading called forgiveness.

To many people are trying to Christianize the flesh. One should never drive the train from emotions, but there are denominations living in the caboose, driving the train from the emotion standpoint, not living it from the doctrinal standpoint. But think about this: Is forgiveness the same thing as being justified or having someone else’s righteousness freely attributed to their account? They are not one and the same. The human race’s sins have all been forgiven, but forgiveness alone does not mean the person having forgiveness is as perfectly and totally righteous as the one who is doing the forgiving.

A born again believer Should and Needs to be Spirit lead. That is Holy Spirit.
Far to many are spirit lead but it's not the Holy Spirit.

Now then I am not sure I follow what you are saying about forgiveness.
Could you explain it a little differently please?

Thanks and even though you joined in 2011 I will say welcome to cfs!!
Also Please Take Note there have been many changes and I ask you to please read over the Following and Familiarize yourself with!!

This will help you to have a safe and joyful time here in cfs.

We should no longer be in need of someone to turn our heads and tell us what to do and which direction we’re to take. Will we always make the right decisions? No. But, we can certainly learn from the decisions we make so that we can make better decisions the next time around. Choices always bring along with those choices consequences and as full grown children of God, the choices have been given us to make as well as the consequences to reap for the choices we make. God wants you to make the choices. Use Scripture where Scripture applies but don’t expect God to deal with you as children when he tells you through the apostle Paul that he considers you as full grown children of God, not children needing a tutor. God is not giving us a feeling of peace in connection with a prayer for direction or a word of wisdom from another believer. God is not giving us a sign of what choice to make. Everything is in his Word, apply it and make your own choice...your full grown children of God, you are not children needing a tutor. This is why the Word of God rightly divided is all that every believer needs in this age of grace for life and ministry.

First one must grasp there are those who are not grown adults in Christ.
1 some are new born in Christ.
2 some have not been taught the word of God properly
3 some refuse to follow God's ways and are still in spiritual pampers even after walking in Christ for years.

Actually God the Father wants to be a part of every decision you make.
It's when people "Think" they are making the right choice but truly have no idea what the Father thinks ends up missing God.

Yes we can and should learn from mistakes but we don't need to make mistakes to learn.

You seem to be running a lot of thoughts all together here. This is only going to cause others to not truly understand what you are saying.

The only reason God could say through Paul, “Grace and Peace be unto you” is because his son fully paid the price. It’s not probation, it’s salvation. If God says I’ve reconciled you to me because I’ve taken all your sins before you were born...I could see every sin you would ever commit past, present, future. I took all those sins off of you before you were born, I put them on my son. The most dangerous of all, people accepting Jesus’ work but on the installment plan. These people claim to believe that Jesus died was buried and that he was resurrected. They’re like the ones trying to do it themselves also they are not willing to accept the finished work of Jesus. They’ll only accept a partial salvation. According to Paul, we must believe that Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection took place and that accomplished our salvation.

What exactly are you trying to say?
Again it seems you are running a lot of different thoughts together.

Understand, this is an issue of vital importance, God told Paul a secret. Unsearchable simply means that which had never been made know, that which could never be search out about Jesus. The idea that Paul was simply taking the same message taught by John, taught by the 12 apostles, taught by Jesus during his earthly ministry, but Paul was taking that message in a different direction, same message, different direction. Something was different with Paul and something began with the apostle Paul.

I am a daughter of God and never even had a Bible in the household I grew up in. I do need a tutor and there's nothing wrong with confessing lack of knowledge and asking for guidance. Surely God would not turn His back on me for needing to be taught His Word. Plus, when you're a newbie and you are desperately wanting the comfort of your Father, it's understandable to admit you need help. This is why I hit a wall of confusion....because many people who call themselves Christians are hypocrites. They say and act differently in church versus behind closed doors. I admit that I am lacking in wisdom, but I stay connected to the Vine and He sustains me. Considering that I come from ungodly parents, I have come along way in my Christianity, but I am struggling and I fear being shunned by more advanced Christians.

Amen! James 1:5 says that if any of us lack wisdom we should ask God who gives freely to all without getting mad at us (my paraphrase :) )

If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.

The brother has it backwards. God the Father Desires we be Spirit lead. Now in order to be Spirit lead your gonna have listen and obey. It's when we decide things on our own that we tend to miss God!
You keep seeking and God will keep giving.

And that's where I go wrong. I strain my ears to hear Him...silence. Spiritual eyes, spiritual ears?? How can I be certain that Satan isn't trying to trick me like he did Eve? See what I mean, I do need a tutor and/or mentor. I take things literally.

We All do and don't let anyone tell you differently.

To answer your question I will give you a Spiritual Exercise to be done Daily.

Romans 12:2. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
Galatians 5:16. 2 Corinthians 9:8

Romans 12:2 ....
And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God

(Get His word in you each and every day and speak His word each and every day)

2 Corinthians 10:4-5
4... For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to pulling down strong holds

5... Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

(Begin to practice the words you speak and thoughts you think, for our thoughts and words do control how we act or react and believe. Our own words do more do influence our thinking then most of everything else)

Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh

(The more you do the first two the more you will begin to walk in the Spirit and you will be amazed to say the least)

All done through the Grace of God who maketh all grace abound to me. (2Corinthians 9:8)

As you do this more and more And Praying that God would show you what is of Him and what is not, you begin to see right away the trickery of the devil.
