This has to be the deepest subject in the bible. How the Christ was 100% God while at the same time He was 100% human.

Now, what do you find mind-blowing when you study this topic?

Hello SovereignGrace;

This can be answered in so many different ways. Please elaborate from a starting point. What comes first to you in your question so we can hone in and build from there?

God bless you, brother.

I have no clue why Christians find this something to debate or who has the right view etc. It's simple. Scripture clearly answers this.

Jesus gave up his being God
Jesus walked this earth as a Spirit Filled man.
Jesus lived as an example that every Spirit Filled Believer should.

If He was living any other way on this earth He could not be the example or show us how we can overcome and walk upright.
He did this as a Spirit Filled Man.

God could not take on sin nor go to the cross. It had to be a man.

There is no questioning this.
Scripture tells us and so that is what it is.
Nothing more or nothing less.
Blessings

Maybe I should have said one of the deepest subjects. Yes, the gospel is. But to say He is 100% God and 100% man mind-blowing.

According to Scripture... it plainly states how this can be, we just have to accept it as truth

Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,
Philippians 2:6‭-‬9 AMPC

But to say He is 100% God and 100% man mind-blowing.
No Sir,
My mind is of Christ and intact and healthy and whole. It shall never be mind blowing.

What is there to grasp?
He was born man. He became a Spirit Filled man. He walked the earth for 3 years teaching us through living it, that is what we now call the gospel of Christ.

He gave up His reborn spirit in order to take all sin, sickness and so forth unto himself.
He went to Hell in our place. He suffered more then any man ever will.

At the right time, God placed His Spirit back in Jesus and Jesus rose up, defeated satan and took back the keys to death and paraded him through the streets of hell before the great witnesses in which He took to Heaven with Him where He now Sits in His place at the right hand of the Father in His fullness.

So I ask again, what is so difficult to grasp?
Blessings to you and your family

Sounds normal to me. Jesus is the only begotton son of God, so he had God the Fathers perfect DNA and also his Jewish lineage through Mary his mother. HE was spirit filled. Also, Jesus Christ came in the flesh. He had a body and he had blood and he had flesh and bones.

Am not going to argue with what Gods Word says, he was the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:19

Only those who are anti-christ would deny that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. I think people cant grasp that God would put his spirit in someone, but He has done that in the past with the prophets, but they could not contain the fullness of God like Jesus did because he was begotton of God right from conception. And his spirit was actually with God from the beginning of time. (Or the foundation of the world) As Jesus was sinless, he had no other spirit but the holy spirit.

Maybe I should have said one of the deepest subjects. Yes, the gospel is.

Not commenting on the “Hypostatic” but more on the deepest subject of the Bible as I understand how the terms was used.

I agree: No. 1 will be the Gospel itself is the most deepest of all: precisely the following verses.

1 Corinthians 1:18-19 New King James Version (NKJV)
Christ the Power and Wisdom of God
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

It contends those who believe and those who do not.

While other topics: it is within the Church or disagreement between Christians: , say: the Armenian and Calvinism debate, to eat or not to eat pork, which Bible is those truest translation, Jesus being God and Human, etc, will be secondary

My point of my post: the following verses I personally found it ALL ENCOMAPASSING answer to all Christian disagreement the following verses: “all our ours”.. Although take note that is not a statement of COMPROMISE for the no. 1 topic of Gospel, of Salvation in Jesus Christ the we steadfastly believe in: ie: there is no compromise at all.

1 Corinthians 3:21-23 New International Version (NIV)
21 So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

Hello Aha;

Thank you for the outline of your post.

What I love in 1 Corinthians 1:18-19 and 3:21-23 equates with the Gospel of Christ, as being the Son of God, as giving Himself up to the Father, on the cross for us. Truly, the Power of Christ and Wisdom of God.

Who on earth with earthly wisdom can say that, be that, or would do that for us? This is why if worldy wisdom sprinkled with unbelief in Christ holds us back from God, then it is not wisdom at all.

Wisdom in Christ can begin with two words, I BELIEVE!

God bless you, Aha, and your family.
