Study About the Birth of Christ

Good stuff brother. Thanks.

Consider for a moment how God used the "insignificant" things in the birth of Jesus.

Mary was just a young, simple girl. She was not royalty in any way. She was not rich and did not have a big fine home.

Consider Bethlehem. It was just a little dusty stretch of road. Nothing spectacular at all. Why not Rome, or Jerusalem or Athens????

Consider the Shepards. Young, working boys tending the flocks. Not guards, or warriors or kings. Just working men.

God has always used the simple, insignificant things, places and people to get His will done.

Look at you and ME!

Here we are at this time being able to get out the Word of God to the WORLD over the internet. I do not know about you but of all the people doing what we do.........I am the LEAST of those who should be doing this!

1 Corinthians 1:26-29 CSB
[26] Brothers and sisters, consider your calling: Not many were wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth. [27] Instead, God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. [28] God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world-what is viewed as nothing-to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, [29] so that no one may boast in his presence.

Mary had a little lamb

In Revelation, who is on the throne? Not a lion, but a lamb.
but acts more like a lion...

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: Revelation 6:16

Rams will just ram you whereas lions could eat you and tear you limb from limb.

I thought we were talking about LAMBS now it is Rams. YES I know a Ram is male lamb but that is not the point.
"Apples and Oranges".

If I am hit by a Ram, I can get up and live again another day. If I am eaten by a Lion......I will have not more days.
