Thank you for your response. In the past, I have had a number of objections regarding my occasional use of the Message Bible. Usually, those negative comments come from those who never deviate from the King James Version.
But in this world, people don't talk in "King James English". That's why Eugene Peterson's version is so refreshing as well as being able to convey the meaning of the verses.

Right, I believe the NASB says something like 'hope in Him'. The KJV was more fitting in this instance.
