Tyrant

It's interesting that the English word "tyrant" was disallowed for the KJV translators to state in that translation. The NASB, however, does translate the Greek word ʿārîṣ, pronounced as aw-reets':
Isaiah 49:24-25 NASB20
24 "Can the prey be taken from a mighty man, Or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?"
25 Indeed, this is what the LORD says: "Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, And the prey of a tyrant will be rescued; For I will contend with the one who contends with you, And I will save your sons.

Zechariah 10:4 NASB20 "From them will come the cornerstone, From them the tent peg, From them the bow of battle, From them every tyrant, [all of them] together.

Instead the KJV translators chose other English words in the place of "tyrant" for what appears to be a diversion away from making the monarchy look bad:

Isaiah 49:24-25 KJV
24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?
25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

Zechariah 10:4 KJV Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.

Hmmmmm...
