I often encounter people from out in the church culture who are wishy-washy, and seemingly stand for nothing...wanting to present themselves as tolerant, accepting, and just not wanting ever to encounter any thing or any one who might challenge them to actually take a stand.
I love this man who they addressed as a "pastor," and who is willing to stand for what is good and right.
Do you ever find yourself tempted to try and play the middle of the road if/when confronted with something controversial by someone else? Which road to you choose? Is it based upon what it might cost you in popularity with the others around you, and therefore sell yourself out as one who has no side in the fight? Does that earn the respect our flesh desires, or do you look only to the Lord, and what will honor Him, which is truth, honesty and integrity?
