Poem#75 Can’t Hasten God

Poem#75 Can’t Hasten God

2 Peter 3

One day is like one thousand days, a thousand days like a day

Nobody knows which day it is to God yet we’re quick to hasten

Causing a panic to a world already hyper ventilating on bad news

Acting like we’re on day one of a thousand isn’t winning any hearts

Got to do more then wish change upon a dark world still stuck in sin

Still stuck on man run traditions that have nothing to do with the Law

Since the Beginning Heaven was formed out of water from God’s Word

Since the Beginning Creation has always been about the Love of People

So People could fall in love of the One and only God that died To Save Us

God didn’t come as Jesus the Son of God to condemn the already dead

We’re not needed to slander & gossip on Sinners God has Had Eyes on

The Same Hand that formed our Heart also Formed their Heart to beat

Jesus died on the Cross so none of Mankind would Perish, but be Saved

When Jesus said Father Forgive Them it was for All to be Finished in Him

So when the Temple of old was torn down, the New could be Raised in Us

Unfortunately those with the Raised Temple still lay among the dead

They say they’re born again, yet tell & defend a different gospel of works

Forgetting we’re all needing Saved by the only Grace that is Jesus

Jesus is coming Back & we’re to keep watch, but while making Disciples

Feeding people the Good News of Jesus Christ & not condemning them

They’ve already seen the Evil being done in the world, they Need Jesus

Every Child of God dreams of the day of being reunited with Our Savior

Still we can’t Hasten God’s coming must wait as He Commanded of us

God’s never early, God’s Never Late, The Day of a Thousand on Time

Hey Walker;

I just logged on this morning @ 9am California time and enjoyed reading Can't Hasten God

I have a suggestion. Why not include the name of the poetry book beside the poem# and title?

God bless you, Kyle, and thank you.

thanks for the suggestion Bob, usually when posting a new poem it doesn’t have a book title to go into because of not processing until I get a vision of direction of the book. I do have a book title early this time during the writing process, just no time table when to publish as I’m still paying off current book to my editor & book making friend.
