I also love pickles, dill and sweet, but never heard of brine until Via mysteriously brought it up. Are brines just sliced pickles?
I have seen some pickles sold on a stick like a lollipop.

HAHAHA @ this delightful thread.... and here I thought BRINE was the juice that the pickles sit in or drown in ( which is actually more accurate ) since their little pickle frames are submerged in liquid. Uuuuum.... I hate to point out the obvious... .however... if a pickle is sliced... it's a SLICED PICKLE. Just saying.If a pickle is sliced, is it pickle chips? or pickle crisps?????
Stryght from Oxford...slice. Perhaps the spelling 'could' be different. e.g. s-l-y-c-e-d.()Not sure if the Brits have a special word for sliced.... HAHAHAHAHAHA.
