Why every Christian has to stand before Judgement

lets stirs things up .. when is judgment ? the moment we die or at a later time ?
After death, I believe that chronological time ceases because our time references (the sun and the moon) are no longer available to us; we have entered the realm of eternity. That being said, we're still aware of sequencial time, i.e., the awareness of one event passing another, so what we can determine Scripturally is that first we will die, and then we will be judged (Heb. 9:27).

i will say scripture does say appointed once to die after this the judgment.. lets fast forward to the bema seat for christians .. time line...... then the white throne sea gives up the dead ......
11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire...
at what point time is this judgment. it appears a type mass judgment and not a each person brought up at a time? its just something kick around

Isn't it possible for God to judge everyone at the same "time". Remember, we're dealing with a lot of unknowns. I still want to point out that it would be impossible to have any kind of chronological references.

All believers have a room in the Father's house. Some are three bedroom en-suite with balcony and others are broom closets.
Now dont take this the wrong way, but an old preacher by the name of Dr. Oliver B. Green one said that he would be very happy to be the man on the back of the garbage truck in heaven.

Now that does not mean there will be garbage in heaven or even trucks or even that there will be jobs in heaven. He was simply saying that the worst job in heaven will be a GREAT job.

I agree.

Yes it is possible. However, since there are "degrees" of punishment in the Lake of Fire, it would make sense that the lost at that time would be judged according to the degree of their sin.

Yes.....I know that all sin is sin in Gods eyes. All sin is a falling short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). So there’s either righteousness or unrighteousness, and righteousness—perfection—is an absolute. Broadly speaking, all sins are equal to God in that all sins are by definition “unrighteous” and “imperfect.” All things less than holy share the quality of unholiness.

IMHO, Some sins are worse than other sins. That is the message of Scripture. For example, Genesis 18:20 refers to the sin of homosexuality as an exceedingly grave sin.
"And the LORD said, “The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave.”

Actually, the Scripture in focus is the 2nd Resurrection which is the Great White Throne Judgment of the lost of all the ages. It will be AFTER the 1000 year rule of Christ.
That's very true, but chronological time is an element of the created universe. Once a person dies, they are removed from the physical universe and all its elements and limitations. Thus, the dead will not perceive any period of time such as 1,000 years. To them it would probably be a blink of the eye. Mind you, I'm doing a lot of conjecturing based more on scriptural principles rather than specific scriptures, so I'm just displaying an understandable ignorance considering the things we're discussing can only find the complete answers in the mind of God.

I agree in that we will not have a concept of time as we know it now as living humans.

I for one apologize for being a part to taking this thread off topic.

The OP'S topic was.....................

"Why every Christian has to stand before Judgement".

I suggest that we try to get back to that topic as it is an important one.

First of all......it is a false non-Biblical statement. This is a teaching that originated with the Millerites who are now the 7th Day Adventists.
It was formulated in I believe 1845 or so when Jesus did not physically return to the earth. Many of Those individuals in that cult left it and those who stayed needed to be consoled by the disapointment of what they had been promised.

Secondly,......NO born again Christian will have his sins Judged after Jesus comes the 2nd time.

The Bema Seat or the Judgment Seat of Christ takes place after the Rapture and is for the believers of the Church Age to receive Crowns or as some say, Rewards.

All the sins of every Christian were paid for by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That being the case, there will be NO judging of any Christians sins at the Bema Seat!

Romans 8:1......
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

It was stated in post #23 that.........
"i will say scripture does say appointed once to die after this the judgment.. lets fast forward to the bema seat for christians .. time line...... then the white throne sea gives up the dead ......".

Then Rev. 20:11- the end of the chapter is posted.

Then the last sentance was ........
"at what point time is this judgment. it appears a type mass judgment and not a each person brought up at a time? its just something kick around".

Just so we are all on the same page and are correctly Biblical on the time line.....
1. The Bema Seat for Christians takes place after the Rapture of those Church Age Christians.
2. Then the Great While Throne Judgement after the sea gives up the dead is for non-believers of all the ages. It is the 2nd Resurrection.
3. Is it a mass judgment and not a personal one on one judgment.

As for #3........I personally do not know. I have given it some thought and I would say a couple of things that lead me to believe it will be a one to one event with the Lord Jesus as the final judge.

Romans 2:3......Speaking to the one who believes he is morally justified without Christ, Paul says......
"And thinkest thou this, O man, (YOU) that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?"

To ME that is a personal (YOU) comment aimed at the person and not the mass. You is emphatic in the question, “[do you think] you will escape the judgment of God?

#1. Romans 2:5.......
"But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God".

Romans 2:6 then says..........
"Who will render to every man according to his deeds".
