As some of mine are them, Thing from another world, Forbidden Planet, and day earth stood still, all of the originals ones

Forbidden Planet is very good, as is The Time Machine. It's hard to pick a favorite since so many are good. I say Blade Runner ranks among the best.

I'll check it out. It's been forty years since I last saw it.
